Direct T.V. Unauthorized Charges from Direct T.V. Internet
I used to be a Direct T.V. customer until i checked the bank. it all started in 2008 when we were moving to the Keys. We contacted Direct T.V. and told them we were moving and asked us if we were going to continue to use there product(this is October 2007). in November 2007 I called to set up service and asked about ther internet service they then directed me to ATT. at this time ATTcoud not instal anymore lines to the housing area because the board was full. I then contacted Direct T.V. and cancelled the order.
I just called them yesterday and requested to set up service because I found another way around the whole internet issue. after talking After talking with Direct T.V several times that day I finallywas set up for service.
Yesterday they stated I had an outstanding balance of 138.75 which i paid over the phone. Today when i checked my bank account I noticed another charge from Direct T.V. for 160.74 and after many long conversation with them I finally hung up. They stated they we reverse the charge of 160.74 in 8-10 business days. I Kept telling direct t.v. that this was unauthorized and that i want the money returned ASAP. Well that didnt happen!
I then contacted my bank which was a waste of breath they could not stop the charges. So now i sit here with frustrated and angry and itseems like more and more rip offs arehappening these days! Direct T.V. is a scam watch out. ....and watch or bank!
