Do not buy meat off the street! Common Sense, right? Well, I got caught in the deal. Two guys show up at my house in 40 degree below weather (WoodDale area) selling meat! Well that should of been my first flag.
Five days before Christmas 12/21/08 rushed for gifts, not thinkin with my kids running around, my thought was "Wow" what a great gift to give. Food! So, I purchased the steaks at the great deal of $155. with tax 169.90. The only reason I was sold is because they told me my neighbor buys from them all the time, if it wasn't 40 Below with the wild chill factor i would of ask my neighbor.
I feel lilke a complete idiot! I wrote them a check at 2:00 pm that day on a Sunday it was cashed at my bank by 4:00. WHAT Company does that!! Do not BUY from this company!!! Again common sense here folks!! DO NOT BUY MEAT OFF THE STREETS!!!

So, what was the problem? I read your whole posting and all I got out of it is, it was cold, they cashed your check and you bought meat off the street.

Let's get this straight?
At 40 degrees below zero in SAINT PETERSBURG, FLORIDA, here comes TWO STRANGERS WHO COULD BE ANYBODY selling what they CLAIMED was STEAKS and you didn't ask to see the STEAKS BEFORE you spent your hard-earned money for them?
Where is your PROOF that your neighbor buys from them? You had only the word of strangers who wanted your money and were willing to tell any LIE to get it. These days, you will get RIPPED-OFF IF YOU RELY SOLELY ON PEOPLE'S WORDS...WORDS THAT CAN'T BE PROVEN IN COURT WITHOUT A HELL OF A LOT OF PREPONDERANCE OF EVIDENCE!
They could have got that MEAT FROM ANYWHERE? IT COULD HAVE BEEN STOLEN, ROTTEN AND REFROZE OR MAYBE EVEN ROADKILL OR DOG FOOD AND SOLD TO YOU AS FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION!!!!!
YOU DON'T KNOW THESE PEOPLE FROM ANYBODY!
YOU ARE LUCKY THEY DIDN'T STRONG ARM YOU AND MAKE A HOME INVASION AND KILL OR HURT YOU AND STEAL YOUR STUFF!
OR THAT THEIR FRIENDS DON'T COME BACK LATER AND STEAL YOUR STUFF WHEN YOU AREN'T HOME!
You never did say WHAT YOU GOT FOR YOUR MONEY!

Don't tell me that you paid GOOD MONEY FIRST without getting the merchandise that was proffered to you as PRIME STEAKS??????????
