Just wanted to alert everyone in Antioch Tennessee that Dirty Car Car wash will screw ya. I went there to get a car I had just purchased detailed. I was told that the car would be waxed, the windows cleaned, the interior cleaned, the running boards cleaned.
The car was washed...That was it. To add insult to injury. They didn't even bother to try to hide the fact that they were screwing me. The Drivers side running board was clean...the passenger side (which they knew I would not see until I opened it at some later date) was as dirty as it was before they supposedly cleaned it. IT HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED...... The windows were wiped with a dirty cloth and were streaked bad.
I could have cleaned the car better myself in 15 minutes (it took them 30) with a bucket of water and broom....
And the worst part is I paid $60.00 for there "service"
I don't usually let someone else clean my car. This was the first and will be the last time I do.
Steer clear of DIRTY Car.....They are just plain dirty!

AUTHOR: Dirtycarscrewedme - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 08, 2009

"Like Tammy, I found this website through Google. I have been to Dirty Car several times and never had a bad experience. Sounds like 'Dirtycarscrewedme' is only interested in seeing his name in print because he likes to complain, but when the OWNER offers to make it right, he backs off.

Sure seems like he's afraid to be caught in a lie if he takes Tammy up on her offer.

I'm planning on going to Dirty Car tomorrow to get my car washed and detailed. Hope too see you there, 'screwed'!"

Dear "Satisfied Customer"
I believe that just about ANYONE out there who comes across my complaint and reads the responses by Tammy and then the other "customers"  will see what is so obvious to me.
1. Peters response was posted on the SAME DAY as "Tammys" second response. Curious that on the internet which is home to billions of websites.. Someone named "peter" just happened to be cruising "ripoffreport.com" and just happened to be a customer of "dirtycar"  and just HAPPENED To post what amounts to a personal attack on ME which was full of speculation rather than defending dirty car based on it's merits.
Little fishy don't ya think???

2. "Satisfied customers" "response" was supposed  just a bit more based in fact since she claimed to be a customer,  but still the personal attacks?

Usually when a person can't defend them selves based on the facts they resort to personal attacks.

Her contention that, "he's afraid to be caught in a lie if he takes Tammy up on her offer" is about as ludicrous a statement as a person can make.

IF I DID take my car to "DIRTY CAR" car wash AFTER THE FACT of COURSE THEY would do it right! Who wouldn't???? That would no more make my initial claim of shoddy service a lie than "Satisfied Customers" post would make her an ACTUAL CUSTOMER!

That having been said, I have not once attacked "tammy" personally and will not do so. Tammy did not perform the "service" on my car and even if she did, my complaint is with the COMPANY and the fact that the "detail" service was shoddy at best.

Now perhaps Tammy was not there that day perhaps she was, perhaps the kids who actually performed the work got lazy and thought they would "slip one by".

At this point I don't care. It has been quite some time ago and I have happily washed and detailed my car myself and will continue to do so.  I am not obligated in any way to return to "Dirty Car" and my failure to do so does NOT change the fact that what happened HAPPENED.

Unfortunately for "Tammy" and the rest of the "Dirty Car" management team. These forums allow customers of establishments who provide shoddy service to share his or her experience with OTHER potential customers with out having to go through them (the management of the offending establishment) to do so. AND IT SCARES THEM!

I suspect that   "peter" and "Satisfied Customer" and other new "customers"  will continue to try and create an environment of mistrust in regards to my claim that -at least in this particular case...-DIRTY CAR SCREWED ME!  And that is fine.

I think anyone who has even the slightest bit of intelligence  can see right through what they are attempting to do.

I am content to have learned my lesson and drop this whole thing.

The personal attacks are silly childish attempts at drawing potential customers attention away from the facts or in other words to SPIN the situation to their benefit.
Sadly, it is a thinly veiled attempt which is easily identified by simply asking ones self the following question....

"How often does a satisfied customer of ANY establishment get so angry as to attack another customer personally for having waged a complaint?"

Again, anyone with a lick of sense knows the answer to that question is RARELY,  if EVER!   Usually satisfied customers DON'T spend their time  looking online for venues to defend their favorite establishments as they have performed their transaction, were satisfied and have moved on with their lives!!!

I am supposed to come back???

Tammy,
Thank you for the offer to bring my car back and have it done right. When I posted this complaint I did not return to this site until now. I see that you have tried to make it right and that is appreciated it but I am content to keep my distance from your establishment.

I will consider the $60.00 dollars I lost as "Stupid Tax". I have learned from my mistake.

I have looked at a few of the other complaints about "dirty car" on here and contrary to "peter" from Alabama's claims. None of them were posted by me. I am sure Rip Off report keeps logs of everyone who posts for just such a situation so your contention Peter, that I am trying to get money from THEM does not hold water and can be PROVED so go be passive aggressive on some other post...

I tried

AUTHOR: Tammy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 19, 2008

After almost begging this customer to allow me to clear this up I have heard nothing back from them. I was and am willing to offer a free detail service without knowing if this actually happened.
If you bought something that was $60.00 and it was broke when you got home or missing parts would you return it or just go to this site and complain about it and lose your money? This customer is notified with each response why not ask for your money back or allow us to redo your service? Maybe because I stated all we have to do is put your license plate number in the system and it pulls up your history and what you have purchased in the past?

3rd time trying to respond to this. (Owner/Operator)

First let me say I am sorry if you had a bad experience at Dirty Car.
We take great pride in customer satisfaction, and always go that extra mile for every customer.
Unfortunately there are times when my husband and I cannot be at the car washes to ensure this and must rely on employee's.
I wish you had left your name and phone number with our cashier so I could have resolved this. If you would like to call and schedule a time that I could personally detail your car. Ask for Tammy if I am not there leave your name and number to call you back to schedule this.
Never leave unless 100 % Satisfied

Tammy

Nice try, but I don't believe one word of your story ...

Nice try, but I don't believe one word of your story, especially seeing as how you just posted another complaint against this establishment regarding your foiled attempt to rip THEM off. Clearly you are out for revenge since you did not get your way earlier. I hope the car wash sues you for libel.

DIRTY CAR CARES

AUTHOR: Tammy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, August 17, 2008

At Dirty Car car wash we try very hard to make your experience a good one, we strive to make each customer happy.
Please bring your car back to our Car Wash and I will myself clean the interior. I am at this location almost daily. A few months ago I took over the detailing myself to make sure they were done correctly, and I have not one time had a complaint. Did you try to speak to a manager? or Owner?
Please call and schedule a time for me to fix this issue for you. 366-DIRT, Ask for Tammy.

Thank you

Did you speak to someone at the wash about this?

AUTHOR: Tammy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 27, 2008

As the Manager of this Car Wash, this is the first time I have heard anything about this. I just happened across it on Google.
When a customer has any complaints we are notified and any mistakes are corrected immediatley!
I am a little confused because we do not have a $ 60.00 service. If you feel as if you paid for something you did not get please bring your receipt and we will fix this for you. I can pull all the information of what you purchased with either your receipt or tag number. If I find you in our system I can then pull our security camera's to see what type of work was done on your car and fix this issue.

As I stated before we do not have a $ 60.00 service. If this was done why would you have not gone in to complain immediatley? We take great pride in the work we do, and strive to make our customers happy. Our motto is Dirty Car Cares, customers are always first. If this is a discruntal employee I hope you remove this immediatley before any action is taken for false claims.
