After a cup of coffee a young man introduced us to Discount Global Travel and we WERE excited to purchase our package at $5000 good for our LIFETIME and our kids! What a RIP-OFF!!
They are worse than bank robbers. At least the bank robbers tell you this is hold up. Bank robbers go to jail for stealing peoples money. They potlickers just keep moving around, changing their name of the company and looking for hardworking suckers like us to rob. Don't waste your money on any of these b*****d clubs...I find it hard to believe at this point that they are all not connected by some bloody umbilical cord. We almost sent money to Castaway Vacations, thanks to Rip-off Report we kept our money. We wondering what has happened to honest, hard-working people who do what they say. I would be worrying what Global's Vacation in HELL will feel like.
I am VERY interested in involvement with a class action suit. If no one ever stands up to these con-artists they will continue to steal from those who work for their money. This isn't just about wanting my money back. I want these people exposed for the stealing they have done and prosecuted.

In response to a letter I will explain my anger With Global Travel. Two years ago we purchased a Travel Plan with them for $5000 that was to be ours until death and inheritable by our kids. Sounds like a great deal. Discount hotels, condos and airfair. Wrong!
Without notice to its customers they vanished. When I called the 800 number a different agency answered Castaways Vacations...they informed us that Global Travel had went belly up and they would be glad to assist us with all our travel needs for a mere....$. Oh, and another travel agency from Florida contacted us saying they would also be helping out all of Global Travel customers.
In short they promised a lifetime of reduced rates for travel, took our $5000 and without a word vanished!
Yes, I'm angry. I also feel sorry for many of their employees who I have read went unpaid.

What exactly is wrong with Global Travel? So you paid $5000. What happened? Did they steal your money? Did you never hear from them again? All I can tell after reading your complaint is that you are unhappy with Global Travel. I'd like to know why.
Please don't misunderstand me. I know nothing about Global Travel but I'd like to know why I should avoid them. Please explain why you are so mad at these people. Thanks!
