 These people. I thought it might just be me, but after doing some looking at reports about Dicount Motors......It seems to be everything they sell. So with that being said, here we go with the next edition of Discount Motors Douschebaggery.

  I bought a car from them over a year ago and when I bought the car you could tell it had just got there from auction. Filthy , with expired insoection, which is no big deal......its just dirt, or so I thought. The front bumper was loose and the windshield was broken, which they put in the due bill to be fixed, so no big deal at the moment.

  So they fix the bumper with some zip screws and I had it detailed out of pocket to make sure it didnt get zip screws also. Also , something that I failed to notice was a missing foglight at purchase, but no big deal, right?

  After my guys put a outstanding wax and detail on it, the car started to tell a story about how she had been treated. That at some point in time she had, had major front end work, as the was a pleathera of new parts, and the whole front clip had been repainted recently.

  I inquired about all this at Discount Motors, as to which they of course denied any knowalge, and into fairness of Rich and Jeff, and thier handicapped ablity by their GM, I was willing to believe them.

  Now here is where it turns to a horror story. I had the option to hit a child that had run into the street or smack the high curb and deal with it. I chose the curb. Got out and made sure everyone was OK, the looked at the car. A less than 5 mph high curb crash destroyed the bumper, grill, and front edge of the hood. Seem very strange to have this damage and it not even get close to the radiator.  So with nothing other wrong I drove it home.

  After looking on line at parts came to the conclussion that it would run around 1500 dollars. So I dropped it off at the body shop I do business with and went to work. They called me later that afternoon with a bill of 4000 dollars, as the car had been in a previous wreck and still had frame damage and the original insurance markings were still there. Really?!

  So once again we question this with Discount Motors and we get the GM calling us back with his Big I Little U attitude. We saw that this was a lost car dealing with a typical car salesman, so we contacted our lawyer. He in turn told us to file a report with the DMV which is free and car dealers hate them like the IRS. So we did, and this GM , Jamie Knobles lost his mind. He called and threatened us , then would call and be all nice , nice. Douschebaggery.

  The DMV investigator told us that if he could prove that they had prior knowalge of the frame damage, that the DMV would make them pay for thier deciet.

 After the invetigation was complete, the final determination was that it had in fact been in a collision at 30 and Bush witha young girl driving it and she hit a parked car head on. But, this could not be linked Dicount Motors having knowalge of this. So we thanked the man and let the GM Knobles know this.

  After leaving a message for GM Knobels, he returned the call with a message stating the same Big I Little U attitude as before and suggested a face to face meeting. This we have decided would be a bad idea for GM Knobels as his mouth would most assuradly get himn trouble.

  So with that being said. I was out to have the 4k worth of damage fixed and treated like a sub standard human being by Dicount Motors/Moritz Direct General Manager Jamie Knobels! And with that I will tell everyone that if you want to run the risk of getting a damaged car that could kill you if it comes apart, the buy from them. But if you want to be treated like a person and not a dog dropping, then I would suggest you go anywhere else, even rip off Drive Time!
