I contacted a local printer repair shop because the bottom tray had a dangling connection and I didn't see anyway to connect it. He told me to use the cord from my old printer, which was the same brand.
I connected the printer. It would not recognize the bottom tray. I sent a print job to the printer and after 34 pages the cord became hot and made a loud pop.
The printer made an unusual sound when getting ready to print and continued while printing. I feel the sent me a defective printer.
They have not returned my calls.
