We signed up for Dish Network , to qualify I neeeed to pay a dollar to get things going I used my card and it was a bank debit card upon doing this I asked if that's all i was gonna be billed as I did not want to use this card for any other billing , they assured me no , the next day the told me that my wife would qualify better than me and we went threw with signing up , then used my wife's debit card to use as monthly billing , well we moved a year later and the Dish Network guy told us that it was a hard place to get a strong signal . Well we cancelled and never received a return kit for the equipment , we called they said they shipped it out ? then they said they were gonna bill her care for canceling while on phone I had my wife cancel her card as I did not agree with their charges and they kept insisting it's in the contract , anyways we cancelled the card , still a month later to return kit has shipped to us and this morning a $771 charge to my card that was used for the dollar down deal was charged I called and got I was being transferred to the office of the president and they insisted it's in the fine print that if they don't get their equipment they have that right , well I was promise my care was only used that one time , they are very sleazy and I feel robbed , I have no money as my paycheck was taken by them , my bank said to file a complaint and I can get my money back but it can take ten days ? They knew this was wrong but to hold me up they did this , first no kit has shipped that's their fault not mine , my feeling is this is wrong this is criminal but they get away with it ! Dish Network is a shady outfit I am glad I now see them for what they are , and I hope they lose all their buisiness and lose money they are a sleazy , shady criminal operation and they have caused me so much headaches and put me in a bad financial mess , why can a company get away with this ?

No we had no past due that was owed , what happened was not what was verbally stated to me . Upon the Dish Network employee the field tech , he stated that where we moved would be hard to get a strong signal so I would encounter interruptions , we then were paying till the year was over so we would not encounter cancelation fees per our sales rep from digs who said if we went a year we just had to return equipkent , they never had my card ( debit ) set up for billing that was my wife's debit card I had put a dollar down at first contact to think about it the dollar held the price , my wife set up the account a cpl days later after we agreed , my debit card was used it was not my card that they took money from for over a year , they never notified me of this happening , no equipment return box ever showed , to say what you did is frankly to me a rep from Dish trying to overlook the details in this story , Dish Network is sleazy and in today's time with working families like me , who struggle to stay afloat while the lazy collects money from taxes I pay services I pay , to do buisiness like that is down right low , if you can honestly not put two and two together and see the wrong thing Dish did is terrible !

 Perhaps YOU should read more. Its CLEARLY stated in their service contract that ANY past due amount WILL be charged to the card YOU have on file. So YOU cancel the CONTRACT that YOU agreed to completely, yet THEY are the bad guys because YOU broke your contract. Perhaps YOU are forgetting that the cable provider HAS NO CONTROL over where YOU have chosen to move. When YOU signed the contract, YOU agreed to ALL of the contract, not just the parts YOU agree with. What YOU are doing is FRAUD!!!!
