I've been a dishnetwork customer and here is how they thank me.  

Out of the blue I noticed that the military channel is gone.  This channel is provided with directv and uverse on their basic programming packages, but for some reason, dish top 200 doesn't include it!  I'm only paying 95$ per month, but they can't give me that channel anymore because they have decided to only include it on their highest price package which is filled with extra channels I have no desire to ever watch.  

As if that wasn't enough, I just noticed my bill went up $5.00 per month!  So, thank you Dish for taking away 1 channel I enjoyed and raising your rates.  Now that is how you keep customers, especially those that pay their bills online every month who has been with you for over 5 years. Smart!

Time to move to DirectTV I guess.  Stay away from Dishnetwork.

You will eventually discover that this is the case, they both will try to screw you.  Get cable.

Free Gift

I worked for a place one time, instead of giving out raises they would give ya free gift every now and then. Most people felt like telling em what they could do with their "free gift".

The place is no more.

Price increase

Hello, my name is Nick Franta with DISH Network. The Military Channel was recently in a free preview which is why it was removed from your programming if you have the Top 200. I can send a request to our programming department to have it moved down to the lower packages as well. DISH recently did have a $5 price increase on 2/1/11 along with most pay-tv providers. Unlike other providers though, DISH has a price guarantee in place until 2013 on its popular packages. In addition to the price increase you would've received a 30th anniversary gift on 2/1/11.
