I called Diversified Residential Services to come repair the washing machine at my place of business.  The owner, Jerry Davis, was the one who came on the service call.  He spent less than five minutes looking at my machine, did not even open it up to look at the mechanics of it, and told me he knew what was wrong with it, and that he would have to order parts.  I was charged $95 for this visit.

 It took over a week for the parts to arrive, and he was also the one who came back to install them.  When he did finally open the machine, he found that there was ANOTHER part that was going to need to be ordered.  when i asked him why we were just now finding this out when i paid almost a hundred dollars for a diagnostic, he IMMEDIATELY started yelling at me, telling me that he knows what he's doing and how dare i question him.  I asked him repeatedly to lower his voice, but he just kept on yelling to the point i was in tears in front of my staff and several clients overheard the disturbance.  it was the most humiliating thing I have ever had to sit through. 

Jerry left the store with a part to my washer and did not say a word to me about what he was doing with it or when he'd be back.  i called the company to tell them what i had just been through, and that I did not want him back in my store, but that I did want that parts that had been ordered on my behalf and that I would pay for them plus the shipping costs.  
I then called another company that agreed to come today to look at the washer.  The new tech opened it up and told me that 2 of the 3 parts that Jerry Davis ordered for me were not necessary.  When the tech from DRS showed up with the parts, I told them that I only wanted the one part that I needed, and that I would not pay for parts that I didn't need.  They called Jerry, and he said that either I pay for ALL the parts, or I get NONE of the parts.  I refused to be ripped off, so he told his techs to leave with the equipment.  This guy is a scam artist, and when you call him out on it he will yell and curse and make a huge scene.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!  YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!

your rebuttal says nothing about the fact that you did not even order the correct parts that i needed since you did not even open the machine to see what was actually wrong with it.  you claimed to know what was wrong when in fact you didn't.  you tried to sell me over $100 worth of parts that i DID NOT EVEN NEED.  why would i buy parts that i didn't need?  Jerry said that i needed them, so that's why i allowed him to order them.  then he comes and actually opens the machine and realizes he has the wrong parts, and when i ask him why we didn't find this out the first time, he immediately raised his voice at me.  why raise your voice and go on the defensive if you were in the right?  he thought i looked like an easy target and he was wrong. 

also, i did NOT curse at anyone.  Jerry raised his voice in my store where clients and staff could all hear, and caused a huge scene in my store.  he gave me a completely different story than the woman i spoke to regarding how the diagnostic visit for the machine worked.  i did absolutely call the police when he refused to sell me the ONE out of THREE parts that were ordered that i actually needed.

do NOT use this company.  they do not even open the broken equipment to check to see what's actually wrong.  they will charge you $95 to look at the front of it and not even touch it, pretend they know what's wrong with it, and then sell you a bunch of parts you don't even need.  they will waste your time and your money.

The customer in question was fine with the diagnosis with the unit on our first visit she was quoted our standard fee for a sevice call to get us out ,and after giving her the price  of parts and labor she was fine with that when it came time to pay for the repair she refused and threaten to call the police at that time advised her to go ahead because this was stealth of services at that point she became upset and began cursing I put up my tools and parts and left the premises she became upset again because we refused to sell her the parts.
