Doba represents a "drop-shipping" company. It is suppose to offer "wholesale" products that can be resold for a profit without actually having your own inventory.

After signing up with Doba (for $49.95) and searching through the products the prices are closer to retail than anything. So basically you can buy many or all the items that Doba offers for less expensive on Amazon.com, Ebay.com or Walmart.

They offer a "lower price guarantee" which is just rubbish.

Conclusively, Doba just offers what seems and is "too good to be true" they lure you in to make you think you can make a profit reselling goods on Ebay without owning your own inventory.

They also tack on ridiculous fees, not only are the product prices really high but they tack on +shipping fees + drop ship fee. What is a drop ship fee you ask? It basically means they change the name of the person (who the package is sent from)...Pretty stupid if you ask me! You also have to call to cancel your account.

Don't waste your money or time here...

Doba is and will always be a scam company.

Father of lies...

I can't believe some people are so eager to justify RipOff Scam companies like Doba. Perhaps it is because they themselves work for the company!

Yes you are correct I did get a free trial. But this was a long time ago before Doba really offered many products up for sale. So I really could not "feel" what Doba was all about.

The second time I signed up I was interested in turning a profit. Could I do that through Doba? The answer is quite simply~no.

Let me correct what I meant by shipping for the dim-witted fools who try to twist my words.
On shipping you get 2 charges...never did I mention there should not of been a shipping cost involved! Since I ship quite a few products myself I know a good ballpark on what an item would cost to ship. However Dobas cost on shipping on many of the products is steep (robbery). They also tack on a miscellaneous cost of "drop-shipping" which is just ridiculous.

The next part you can do for yourself at home. If you go2 www.google.com you can type in Doba. What is advertised?
Drop ship wholesale product drop shipping source | Doba

The third word in the link says, "wholesale". In many of the states you are required to have a wholesaler license. If Doba did offer wholesale products (which they don't) it would be illegal for them to sell products to you.

If you would like to sell overpriced products from Doba than be my guest...But you are wasting money on a membership/overpriced products/2X the cost of normal shipping.

Another stupid complaint

So reading these complaints makes me laugh. Anyone that goes to the site can see why it's humorous. First off, you signed up for a 7 day free trial. You are not billed anything for the first week. This is to allow you to do the research to see if it's something that will work for you.
Also, you mentioned the ridiculous fees they tack on? haha you mean the "drop ship fee" and "shipping" fee? Please show me a site you order from that doesn't have shipping and handling? AND if you think.. "soandso.com has free shipping" I can assure you they don't, they've added it to the price of the item. So you and others understand. Doba is the middle man. They don't warehouse the products. So when you brilliantly said "What is a drop ship fee you ask? It basically means they change the name of the person (who the package is sent from)..." That's a cute guess but wrong. There is always a handling charge with every order you'll place any where. Also complaining about calling in to cancel? Was it that hard to do? From what I understand they ask this to verify your info before making changes to the billing info. Seems pretty responsible to me? But what do I know, right?

Get a life
