Dog Carts by Lilawasta Terry Schmidt Demanded money upfront from young soldier in Iraq, Did not deliver product ordered, fails to communicate by phone or email. Cameron Park, California

Daughter while home on leave from Iraq contacted Terry Schmidt to have a cart made for our Dog. Mr. Schmidt demanded payment upfront thru Paypal before he would build the cart. Daughter understood that it would take 6 to 8 weeks to build. Some communication and stalling (ie;welder broke), was done during the first 5 or 6 weeks. After the 6th week all communication stopped....Contacting Paypal, who supposedly will investigate, we were informed we had to file the complaint within 45 days!!! At this time we were beyond the 45 days, obviously known by Mr. Schmidt, and Paypal would do nothing!!! Trying to file a complaint with the BBB we found out he was not only not a member of the BBB but any mail sent by BBB was returned. Do not do business with this company. As of today the cart has been on order over 6 months and we still cannot get any emails answered or phone calls answered.
