Don Dickel Floors unprofessional, totally misleading, inept, rip-off, lied to us, cheated us, took our money but not our calls or emails winterport Maine

 My wife and I hired Don Dickel floors in Winterport, Maine to refinish our downstairs. When the owner came to give us an estimate and our options, she told us that the damaged wood from pets would be fixed as would the spaces and sections of the floor that were separating in the seams. When they finally did the floors, the only things that were fixed were the couple of pet stains. The gaps, the spaces, a black spot near fridge, and the water damage was NOT fixed AT ALL> When we discussed this with owner, she claimed that it was a mistake from floor installalation and not something that could be fixed. We were not really happy but we believed her. We paid and were told how to care for floors and that it was warranteed for a year. Just a couple of months later we started to notice that the floors were sagging and warped everywhere. The edges or seams were separating and the boards looked like ocean waves. The finiash looked gone and the floors are all dull. THey look horrible. THen , we needed to mose refridgerator and saw that they didn't even finish inderneath which was something they told us they did.  We had always followed their instructions as to what to use to maintain floors. Now, our floors look WORSE THEN EVER. We tried to contact DON DICKEL FLOORS and our calls and NUMEROUS emails were completely ignored.... Now, we are stuck with floors that we have to again get refinished. We are not happy because my wife told them that she would leave a positive review for them online, which now she regrets. We were NEVER really happy with DON DICKEL'S job from the beginning but we have never had floors done so thought that we got what was promised. But when our friends have come for a visit they have repeatedly pointed out that the floors look worse than they did before. It is embarrassing for them to know that we wasted our money and aggravation with having to completely empty every room for DON DICKEL"s workers to basically make matters worse.
