SEO Reputation Management at its best!

I'm 58, my job down sized and terminated my employment Dec 29, 06. While watching TV I saw The Greatest Vitamin In The World paid advertisement. Sounded interesting so I called and signedup on Jan 5, 07.

Before paying the $35.00 signup fee I was advised of a new package for $573.00 sounded good, so I took it. Next day or two a caller advised me on some quick start packages, the max being $2,400.00 for 8 new advertiser being tagged to me for life and 8 Vitamin sales from their TV commercials, I took that also.

I began pushing adverting to the max with Google, Yahoo, MSN from the top rated advertisers to the worse using pop-under & over, slide in & out, e-mailers you name it I did it to the cost of $7,264.00 in advertising alone on my own.

In a couple of days another caller advised me of new package for $3,495.00 I forget what it was for, but It sounded good and I took it. At the same time I was advised of another package that cost $1,200.00 but if I took it right now he would lower the price to $307.95 well I took that too and told him to mark my account "Don't call with nothing else".

I was $14,074.95 in debit and hadn't made a penny yet. I had a good feeling this would work, my website was averaging from 600 to 800 hits per day, I had 60 days to try this and cancel if not satisfied and get the money back I spent with the Greatest Vitamin.

After 52 days in this business on Feb. 26, 07 I called and requested my account canceled. My website had 37,156 hits and not even one sale. I had already gotten the 8 TV advertisement sales I paid for and the 8 new advertisers attached to me that as of today haven't done nothing and as of today I only have 8 vitamin sales. I was averaging 715 hits daily, 24/7 and not one sale.

I myself ordered one of all five vitamins and a Curing Illness Book as a regular customer on my website to see if the website functioned ok. I checked the site and my name was there 6 times, the 5 vitamins and 1 book. I received 2 books and as of today no vitamins yet. That's $233.00 lost. After that little test, I honestly believe my website generated sales and they kept them for themselves as you have no way of follow up or track your hits.

A customer service rep called me on March 7, 07 and started my cancelation process, said it would take about 2 billing cycles and I would get my $6,810.95 refunded. I waited, no refund, I have called over 20 times since that, when someone calls back, they can't answer any of your questions on why the delay, they only call to say "it's going to take another 21 days".

I have had three "21 day" callers and the last one stated "10 business days", that 10th business day ended August 10, 07. Now when I call, I get the receptionist, that can't do you any good, and promises to have a Customer Service Rep call you today, this is my 5th daily call, same promise, no reply from the Rep.

I'm ready for a class action law suit against The Greatest Vitamin in The World. Can anyone out there help me?

Yes I fell for Lapre's scams back in the 1990's.

AUTHOR: Mr Bill - (U.S.A.)

Back in 1995-96, I saw a Don Lapre infomercial. And I was suckered into buying the 1-900 numbers. I did what he said-place ads in small newspapers across the country. After 8 ads, I was out about about $600 just in advertising, and not 1 call. And I had given him another $600 for the #s. After $1,200, i stopped and took it as a lesson learned. Then a few months later, I fell for his National Reminder Service scam. He suggested getting people to sell for you and give them a percentage. He also suggested looking for employees with an ad like "Make over $100 a day" But the papers wouldn't even accept that kind of ad-they said it was too vague. So a friend and I tried to sell the service to many, many people. About all we got from them was a laugh. I realized most people are not going to buy crap like that-Reminder Service and pay $3 a minute for some stupid 1-900 call. He's right about being a millionaire-by making $$$ off of stupid people like me. One of the biggest scammers I've ever seen.

I have also filed an official claim with the Attorney General of Arizona. It was forwarded to the Postal Inspectors in Az. who requested I send every detail of the business transactions with WGV to them including dates, time, names, phone#s, purchase receipts, what was said or promised by who and etc. I don't think the Postal Inspectors can do nothing to return our money. I was requesting a Class Action Attorney referral. If any one have a Class Action in progress, please let me know templesheba at aim dot com as soon as possible.
I think a company called Amazing Internet Riches System in Van Nuys, Ca. is the new name for the WGV as they have called me and stated I was referred to them by WGV and attempted to get a chunk of money from me but I just hung-up. I'm already scammed $6,810.95 and don't need to be suckered by the same group again.

I called Monday, Sept. 3, 2007 to check on my $6,810.95 refund to find not one phone number in the complete company is operational.

You get an operator's message that says "THIS DEBIT CARD HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED" and hang-up. You get this same message on all numbers.

The Greatest Vitamin In The World is gone, it's not operating anymore. Our money is lost forever.

I researched and found a few other phone numbers. Only one had Don Lapre's recorded message:

"WE WILL HAVE A BRAND NEW PROGRAM UP AND LIVE BY MONDAY MORNING"

no date for that monday morning he's speaking of, and for me, that's been 2 mondays ago and nothing yet.

A Lier can't stop lieing.

I will be filing a claim with Arizona Attorney General and BBB.
