On January 21 2011 I ordered 4 pounds bulk tobacco from Don at Big Buffalo.com. Order was processed and acknowledged online the same day. Big Buffalo promised 10 day turn around time.
The required me to give checking account number and routing number for this order totalling $80.95
They negotiated the check thru Chase bank on 2-1-2011. I emailed Don several times after NOT receiving my parcel now over two weeks ago...finally he responded saying...will ship ASAP. (What does that mean?) Then two more weeks went by and I emailed Don again!
After several attempts to contact thru email now 4 weeks in...I went to Chase Bank. They agreed to refund my money one time only BUT because the issue was my fault by giving a checking number with a router...I was told by the bank to close and re open another account. I followed the banks advice and this placed ally funds in limbo for 3 business days.
I finally received a package on March 1st containg the tobacco and Don was right there wanting to know why I cancelled the check.
I explained everything in great detail to this man. I even wrote a formal letter to them. He insists that I now owe him $115 because of the canceled check (which HE caused). He sends me threatening emails calling me a thief and a criminal. He also text messages me fro 2 different phones having the 716 area code and one is his own number. He seems to enjoy harrassing and threatening. He is abusive and makes comments about where I live...my wife...my age. I can provide all correspondances in this matter.
Somebody in upper New York needs to put a stop to this nonsense. Its bad business and certainly reflects poorly on the State of New York and I am certain no REAL native American would act in this fashion.
Big Buffalo can be reached at 716 951 0784 He likes getting calls at about 2 in the morning. He left 33 messages on my phone between 10PM and 5AM!
Unbelieveable that this sort of vendor is even allowed to continue in business. Up until I began getting threats...I would have considered paying him for the tobacco that I received 21 days after the 10 day stated period but now...I believe after readinfg all the other horrors on him...I believe I will just buy tobacco locally from vendors I know
