Doubleday Large Print Bookclub did not receive shipments. They are billing us 21.90 3x total $65.70 and we have not received any books. They are turning our account over to a collection agency. No reasonable to letters or emails. No toll free telephone number and they put you on hold until you hang up. This is a barracuda rip off company. Camp Hill Pennsylvania

Mailed in a request for a trial membership. Reserched Doubleday and found they were not a customer oriented company. 1 packged arrived we refused delevery and advise U.S. Postal to return to sender.

Several months later we started receiving statements in the amount of three charges of $21.90 each for a total of $65.70. They keep saying we have not respomed to their bogus charges. We sent two replys vis US Postal service and three emails. Their followup statements and letters do not jive with what we told them. We have not reiceived or accepted a single devivery.

Their latest letter demands payment or they will turn our account over to a collection agency and start adding accured late charges. We do not care if they do turn it over to a collection agency. We are in are 80s with an excellent credit history. We will answer the collection agency's first request and then tell to go to a very hot place and ignore any further communications.
