I had an insurance claim on my home owners policy in August . US Bank refuses to sign the check so that I can get the funds to do repairs . They have informed me that I have to let them have the check and they will put it in an escrow account and disperse the funds in 3rds. Then I have to have an inspection done on the property. The kicker is.... The majority of the money. 12500 of 15000 was a machine shed that THEY DIDN'T HAVE ON THE Appasial and is not on the mortgage. They told me I had to put the money back into the property ---the house--- or they were going to automatically apply it to principle.... I do my own repairs being a self employed farmer and they are unwilling to pay me for MY labor.. This is the most unreasonable and difficult mortgage company to work with I have ever dealt with... At all costs ...avoid working with this company....they have NO IDEA WHAT THE REAL WORLD IS LIKE.....meanwhile no repairs have been done
