This is it, I purchased a set of 2000.00 dollar cylinder heads for my big block chevy. I got them home and installed them right away, been waiting to go racing, old ones broke needed to get back after it. So the end of the season came along and we were changing some parts and checking stuff out for next year. And I don't no exactly what it was but something just kind of stuck in my head, so i decided to write the manufactor of the cylinder heads i had purchased, picked there brain got some part numbers and low and behold that little twitch i had in the back of my neck came alive. They had reboxed a different cylinder head and sold it to me as what i had ordered. I was a bit livid at this point, so I called and asked to speak to a company rep, which i did and they refused to take care of it. All I wanted was what i had ordered. i started out being nice and explained the situation, saying what had transpired. I didn't check out the heads before I put them on my car because ( me dumb ) thinking i got what i payed for. So I explained all of this to the sales rep of doug herbert and he said there was nothing he could do for me. and that i would need to contact a lawyer to persue this futher. Well me being a not so welthy individual new i was had, because i could not afford to pursue this further. so you no the rest of the story. bend over rover let doug herbert take over. rippppppedddd off in iowa, i would not buy another thing from this outfit and i wouldn't recomend anybody else to buy from them either.

Look everyone I'm here to tell you that I have been found out. I received a Call from Bill whom is a rep for Doug Herbert performance parts. It seems that They wanted an explaination as to why I was unhappy with the service they provided me. I explained the situation to the rep and He told, or more so, he asked what he could do for me. He told me the individual whom i had worked with originaly no longer worked for the company because of this type of customer treatment. I am still up in the air over the whole thing and am waiting to make total judgment. so people hold on and wait i'll be adding more as soon as i try and work out a deal with Doug Herbert. I am going to bring this thing full circle if possible. So stay tuned for the finally will see how it goes from here. check back soon. dmlsr davenport

IT WOULD SEEM THAT AFTER ALL THIS TIME DOUG HERBERT IS TRYING TO SAY WAIT A MINUTE YOU DIDN'T GIVE US A CHANCE. WELL WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST TIME, YOU AS A LARGE COMPANY SHOULD HAVE SAID WE WILL INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER FURTHER AND WE WILL RESPOND IN A TIMELY MANNER. BUT NO THE PERSON WHOM YOU CHOOSE TO LET ANSWER YOUR PHONE DECIDED THAT. I WAS WRONG AND THAT WAS THAT. WELL I WAS IN CONTACT WITH THE MANUFACTURE OF THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED FROM YOU. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN PUT UP A STINK ABOUT IT. THEY LOCATED THE PROBLEM AND TOOK CARE OF IT. YOU ON THE OTHER HAND DID NOTHING TO RESOLVE THE SITUATION. BUT NOW THAT YOU ARE ON THE RIP OFF REPORT IT'S A BIG DEAL. WELL I FOR ONE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO ANYONE. I'M SORRY YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE, MORE THAN ONCE I TRIED TO TALK WITH YOUR COMPANY, AND WAS SHUT DOWN. BUT HEY YOUR THE BIG GUY AND I'M JUST THE LITTLE GUY YOU POOPED ON.

IT IS VERY UNLCEAR WHAT THIS CUSTOMER IS CLAIMING HAPPENED. HE DOES NOT GIVE HIS NAME OR CONTACT INFORMATION, DATE PARTS PURCHASED, DATES HE CONTACT DOUG HERBERTS, AND EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.

WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND SELL HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF HEADS AT THE MOST COMPETITIVE PRICES. OUR PHONE SALES PEOPLE ARE THE MOST KNOWLEGABLE IN THE BUSINESS.

IF I HAD THE FACTS I COULD RESEARCH. THE TIME TO POINT OUT A MISTAKE, IF THERE WAS ONE, IS BEFORE THE PRODUCTS ARE CONSUMED.
