I will try to ponder this matter further
1. I cannot speak for the events of that night, yet under the circumstances, when several groups of people sit at one table and everyone orders - it is possible for a server to make an innocent mistake by confusing who ordered what drinks. Especially if people ask for a split check at the end. I can honestly say that in all the years, we have never had another situation like this.
2. It is also possible that the other group while paying the check did not notice the mistake or, in fact, chose to ignore it.
3. Nowhere in your report do I see that you tried to contact a manager and solve this issue. Why?
Again, I am profoundly sorry for the events of that night. I will address this with the staff now to make sure this does not happen again.
