It all began on the 8th of September, 2008. I ordered a Halloween Costume from Doxy. According to the web, it would be shipped within two weeks. They immediately took payment prior to shipping.
I waited for approximately three and a half weeks and started sending emails. I received a response of it has been shipped. Well, I never received it. A week passed and I emailed Doxy again. I told them I reported it to the BBB due to the customer service issues and lack of merchandise. Jennifer emailed me and stated she sent another order to me.
I finally received my order a few days prior to Halloween. The costume did not fit and was not what I had expected. It was not a well made costume especially for $55.00. I wrote Doxy and returned the item to them.
On November 3rd, 2008 I received conformation stating they received the package for the Post office. Of course you guessed it....they didnt refund me nor contacted me. I sent them an email regarding the issue and did not hear back from them. I filed another complaint with the BBB. This time they returned the complaint unresolved.
I have sent so many emails regarding this order for a refund and keep getting the run around. I have called Jennifer on several occassions and she never response. The most recent email states they dont have any record of receiving my return and wanted a scanned copy of the delivery slip. I did that and just received an email asking what is the problem and they shipped my order. Apparently they do not know how to read.
I am at my witts end. I found out that Doxy was shut down in another state due to their practices. I wish I would have found out about that sooner. I suggest to everyone to not order anything from Doxy.
I refuse to give up on my hard earned money and will continue to make complaints to everyone and will also continue to send emails to this company. Hopefully, we all will receive our money back if enough of us complain. My next step is to complain to the local attorney genearal's office.
