I wrote an email today and said if I didn't get a response then I would start placing negative reviews and still no response. Its been over 30 days and even if the product was out of stock they say that out of stock items MAY take up to 30 days to ship. Well I think I have done all the waiting I can now. I was going to dispute it on my credit card and be done with it but after reading about all the other folks that she ripped off, I think its about time to have my brother (lawyer) do me a favor and contact her. I am just shocked this person is allowed to keep doing business.

Search Tipsfrom lots of e commerce experience I I have found that when a item is not in stock you are notified in check out and asked if you want to proceeed. The fact that this is for costumes that rule should be followed more as some people have party's and important dates..(most people dont buy captian booty for work or just daily routine) so I think that costuumers should of been notified and refunds should of happen quick as most of these orders are for costumes and wiill be used tonight when most party's are.
Doxy could of avoided this whole mess by being honest about shipping dates and leaving themoney on the visa until they new they were going to be shipped in time. I understand back orders and this is a busy time, but most people have ordered costumes from other sites 3 weeks after and still received them before today..

Honestly, all the comments here about Doxie have been from people who are ordering costumes just a few weeks away from Halloween and are upset that the company is backordered. How many hundreds of orders do you think a company like this has to process? I've never done business with this company, but common sense indicates that I should order EARLY if I want a costume, not wait. This is akin to people shopping for that perfect Christmas gift 1 week before Christmas. By that time, all that's left are the gifts no one else bought.

Well its been past 30 days. What really gets me is I went to their site this morning and here is the banner "It's not too late! Order by 3 p.m. EST on Friday for Saturday Delivery using either USPS Express Mail, or UPS Next Day Air delivery for costumes!". Wow, takes them over 30 days NOT to send me my items but they can make this claim. This place is the WORST RIPPOFF I have ever encountered on the internet. Save your money don't shop here!!
