Dr. Michael Barnard Quack Quack Is all I can say!!!! Fort Lauderdale Florida

Knowing that Michael Barnard my sons football coach was also a dentist I had told him of some tooth pain I was experiencing in my eye tooth and him knowing I was a single parent of 2 he said to make an appt with his office He would take an xray and consult me for $0 dollars and whatever work needed to be done he would work the price with me. I happily agreed and made an appt. that following day for 9:00am Upon my arrival I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours after my appt time finally was called in and after the x-ray was taken he said I needed a root canal on my eye tooth and A deep filling in the tooth next to it and needed 2 extractions on my lower right side. MIND YOU I only went in for 1 tooth. I did not believe him and said I would do a root canal and crown and the filling How much? He sent me in to LINDA the office manager who told me it would cost $3000.00 

Linda the office manager made clear no work will be done before payment was received! I paid in full with my familys help in the 1st 2 visits My root canal took 2 visits each a month apart. When fitted for the crown that was put in on my 2nd visit was longer than the teeth next to it and when I said No it looks off I was told that the mold taken from my mouth is what the tooth was formed from and it was always like that. This is not true When i was 18 my braces came off and all my teeth were filed perfectly even. I left and the hour drive home started to feel pain in the whole left side of my face from the top of my nose to the bottom of my jaw. When I awoke the next morning the pain was unbearable I called the office and asked to speak with Dr. Barnard I was put thru to Linda who told me that it would go away it was beacause my mouth needed to get used to the root canal and deep filling.

IM NOT STUPID having had a root canal before i new something was wrong. I called for another appt. and a week later I returned and upon Dr. Barnard looking at it he said I had a small infection in that area and gave me a script for Amoxicillian and Vicodon. Okay well this went on for 8 more months and 14 more visits each time I went he looked at my mouth and said the infection was still there and called in another prescription. I was fed up and expressed to the office as well as Dr. Barnard my concern that the pain is still there and asked why all the teeth on the left side and my 2 front teeth seemed to be loose, Dr. Bernard replied that it was NO BIG DEAL all I needed was to have a cleaning once the infection was gone (I still cant understand why I believed him). 

Upon returning for the last time 8 1/2 months after my 1st visit, Dr. Barnard came in looked at my mouth and said The infection was still there i asked  what could he do because this is completely unacceptable to me ,Dr. Barnard walked out of the room saying he would be right back, but within seconds this woman came in and asked me to follow her to her office which was Dr. Barnards office and to my surprise became very demeaning and accusing me of calling and complaining to the office to much and told me to leave I was no longer welcome. 

After refusing to leave she LOUDLY asked me if I knew who she was and I told her I didnt care She raised her voice and said "I AM DR. BARNARDS WIFE!!" I again replied "So What" and asked to see Dr. Barnard she refused to let me see him insisting I was no longer welcome and I needed to leave the office NOW or I would be Physically removed.

Within 4 weeks went to see a new dentist here in Boca who took xrays and also requested xrays of my mouth to be sent to him from Barnards office. The office took 6 days and sent only 2 xrays. When my new dentist called me and said to come in as soon as possible I went that day.He compared the 1st xray taken 9 mths earlier to his xray The 1st from Dr. Barnards office showed healthy bone and teeth and the new xray he took showed all the bone on the top of my mouth disintegrated and all the my teeth are very loose because they have no bone to hold them in! NOT because I needed a cleaning 

SO all in all  simple root canal from DR. BARNARD is costing me the loss of all of my top teeth!! The work now needed to be done is in excess of 10,000 for bone graphs and implants and if that doesnt work my last option is dentures. IM a single mom with no money so I live each day hoping my teeth dont fall out until I have saved some money!!!   I have only HATE for DR. BARNARD and his maid Lutz who is now his wife.  I am considering taking him to court for this.DR. BARNARD IS A QUACK OF A DENTIST AND HIS WIFE IS COMPLETELY PSYCHO.

 OH and by the way all over his office are posters of Jesus and posters describing how to know if you will be accepted into heaven! aAnd along the wall are all his Diplomas 6 for construction and building and 1 for dentistry OKAY so maybe he can build but DR. Barnard is NO DENTIST!!!!!  I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND ANYONE NOT EVEN MY ENEMYS!!!!       HE HAS F***ED ME UP AND BAD!!!!!!!
