Heard "DR." Michael Pinkus on a radio informercial. Today's rand was for SuperOmega Krill Oil. = " FEEL the DIFFERENCE in a WEEK!!! " I called. Would have to pay $60 for a bottle if I didn't "order 3, GET ONE FREE!!!" 30 day return policy, so I ordered 3. Horrible stuff. I belched fish oil all day long. Called company for the required RMA # to get a refund. They tried EVERYTHING to get me to "try the product longer." (Free merchandise, longer evaluation period, etc. etc. etc.
Told them no..., no... and WHAT part of NO do you not understand? Interestingly, the company is in Maine but the 'return address' is a posh Florida community. Got the RMA#, resealed the shipping carton, blacked all the shipping addresses to ship it to me, affixed a fresh shipping label with the RMA on it and returned it USPS insured. 5 days later, the parcel got returned to me "REFUSED!" This is adding INSULT to injury. Called company, was told "THAT C A N N O T HAPPEN" I scanned the top of the box and faxed it to them.
Company rep said "OK, we need for you to remail it..." I said "NO, HELL NO!!! I am not going broke on postage because of you arrogant jerks. Agent then said they would send me a pre-paid return label.
10 days passed. No reply. Called again, got the same "shocked and amazed" response from the agent. Said they saw where I had called twice and package had been refused. Would investigate and call me back with an update. (= S U R E THEY WILL...) I told them to investigate while I contacted the USPS Postal Inspector and the BBB.I supposedly spoke to 2 levels of "management" (probably just other agents.) They said, "Well, just hold the package. We'll refund your bank card immediately. Will take several days to get A N O T H E R LABEL to you." I watched my online bank
statements for 3 days. NO credit.
I called back. Agent sounded as though she doubted my credibility. Said she would "walk" my refund to the financial department. Next day, nothing was done. I called the bank card company (AMEX) and they issued a credit on the spot. Credit included postage to me + postage I paid USPS. AMEX said destroy the package. =The matter is closed.
