Dreamwalker Ranch CAUTION Internet, Nevada

My experience:

Purchased via internet. 5 y/o TWH. 

I very specifically asked in several communications that this be a BEGINNER Horse..  No spookiness.  I asked to speak to previous owner. Jenn said that she does not allow that. That she was able to represent horse.

What showed up was a beautiful Tennesse Walker.... Understandable nervous...

I contact Jenn after spending time with her as the following is what was observed after several weeks of adjustment and settling in.

Would not take bit

Would not trailer

Head Shy

Spooky, Spooky, Spooky.

I am a very savvy internet person and eventually found the original owner..

The owner told me he sold her only months previous to a young couple who he told about her "Hot" nature.. That she jigged uncontrollably and was very spooky.  The young couple indicated they wanted to train her and were very experienced.

To this day, I continue to dialogue with the owner and provide updates on my horse.

I am committed to working with her and keeping her. 

So there you have it:

1) Dreamwalkers are HORSE TRADERS.. They have contacts back east who buy horses and resell to Dreamwalkers. I spoke to one of these horse traders personally.

2) Dreamwalkers MISREPRESENTS the nature of their horses. I am an new rider and was soooooo very clear about obtaining a very calm natured non spooky horse

3) Dreamwalkers is NOT HELPFUL in circumstances of this nature.. I offered to return horse and come there to pick out a horse that was CALM and Jennifer said no.

I would advise caution in dealing with Dreamwalkers... Go there yourself, ride the Horse OFF off their property. Insist on speaking to previous owner, not the horse trader. And test yourself for all the things that are important to you in a horse.. Do NOT take Jenn's word for it.
