This is clearly intent on their behalf for the car to be repossed and sold at action and then to have me to continue to pay on an car I will not have posession of once repossed. I feel as if drive finanical should give me the title to the car due to thier negelence of not notifying me so that I could continue to make payments.

You may have to hide the car, until it is cleared up.

POSTED: Thursday, August 09, 2012Hide it. I also recommend public storage to hide it in. Well worth the fee, instead of $$$ to the tow guy, tow guy storage, or worst, you car is sold at auction, and then you find out the "new loan company" has filed a 1099 on you with the I.R.S. forcing you to pay "charge offs" taxes, which can be thousands of dollars.
Get new license plates on it. Make up an excuse the car wash ruined them, the letters are my ex-husband's initials etc.
Go to a locksmith shop, and have them change the locks on ALL of the doors and truck.
Re-register your car at a relatives home, in another town in your state.
The auto-load company doesn't care about you or your car loan. But they may care about using extortion to force you to pay more, after you car has been mysteriously "towed by them" for "lack of payment". Some makes and models are worth more that others to the auto dismantlement guy.
What happened to your the checks you wrote to make your payments? Have they been cashed? Or was the mail returned to you? Are the funds still in your bank account? Here are 2 good ways to cover yourself with paying a bill that you may need proof of later:
1. Make a copy of the check you wrote BEFORE you put in the envelope, and mail it out. Then staple your check copy to the statement matching the bill.
2. Then mail the bill by U.S.P.S. Form # 3817, called a Certificate of Mailing. This proves in a court of law that you mailed it, is inexpensive (compared to Return Signature). Then staple the stamped proof the Postal worker will give back to you to your copy of check, and statement of billing.
You can use this system to pay rents, mortgages, bills, etc. And it does hold up on a court of law.
Good luck, and on another note:
Striderq Columbia (U.S.A.)) Is a fake, blogger for hire, and works for one of those "reputation defender' companies. He trolls the clouds, looking for any postings about any company he has been hired to 'rebuttal' against. His "rebuttals" are usual excessively long winded, and he always "claims" to "have worked" in the "industry" that the poster complained about. He is "critical" about the poster, but does not address the issues posted in the complaint. He uses "cliched" statements. So, dis-regard any of this guys postings on the web, internet, www or the cloud. I have read streams of his postings under this handle And he may use more identification handles to operate.

Your payments...

POSTED: Saturday, May 12, 2012Additionally, you might want to go back to freecreditreport and cancel. When they asked for your card number for the free report, it was to enroll you in their credit monitoring system. If you don't cancel they will start debiting your account and we'll see your next report against them.

Still not quite buying it

POSTED: Friday, May 11, 2012In your Original Post you seem to indicate that you didn't make the payments because you didn't know who to make them to. Yet in your update you seemed shocked that you are behind $3,000 and think that Drive is responsible. Did you make your payments or not, and if so to who?
If you didn't make them why are you shocked that you are behind $3,000?
If you were making your payments, why in your original post did you seem to indicate that you were behind when you hadn't even been able to contact anyone yet.
By the way again going back to your original claim that their entire intent to this is to repo the car. Well if you are $3,000 past due your car would have been picked up long ago.
All of these seem to indicate you are leaving some very key items out. Perhaps things that don't have you looking so good.

What a concept..
AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 07, 2012Okay not knowing who to pay is bad. But the question is what have you done to try and solve this issue? First your payment dates and amounts don't change have you been putting the payments aside until you find out? If not that is on you.
How did you find out it was sold? Did you get a letter? Did someone call you? If it was a letter how come you didn't call Drive(or what ever company sent it) to find out more? If someone called you how come you didn't ask them?
By the way if your contention is that the only reason Drive is doing this so that your car is repossessed. What exactly is their incentive in this if they no longer hold the loan? Do they just hate you that much, or are you not telling us the entire story?

How long did it take you to realize you weren't making payments anymore?
AUTHOR: Ken - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, May 07, 2012They don't need your permission, at all, to sell your account to another company, and I would wager you WERE notified.
How far behind were you on your payments when all this happened?
"This is clearly intent on their behalf for the car to be repossed and sold at action and then to have me to continue to pay on an car I will not have posession of once repossed."
How did you come to this conclusion? Most finance companies just want you to pay as per the agreement you signed.
"I feel as if drive finanical should give me the title to the car due to thier negelence of not notifying me so that I could continue to make payments."
Nice try, but I think you can forget that.
Isn't Drive Financial and likely the company they sold the account to, a "dead-beat"lender?
In other words, you have a history of bad credit experience.
