I bought my truck in 2005. I paid on it for 4 years at $400.00 a month. If you do the math that was over $23,000.00. The truck was only worth $10,000.00 back then. I only had 5 months left to pay and you guest it! It was repossessed. I love my job and my home. They told me that I could get my truck back if I came up with $1500.00 or the $2,000.00 that was owed on it. I had 30 days. Now my truck was picked up on a Thursday. I went on the following Thursday with the $2,000.00 to pay off the truck. On Saturday 2 days after it was picked up it was taken to the auction. Oh did I fail to mention that all of my personal property was still in the truck! Which is valued at more than what the truck is worth! My vehicle was sold. I called the auction place and they said they didn't have my personal property. Now I am out of my truck, $23,000.00, and just a rough estimate with the receipts I have gotten together on my work tools still with the truck $4,206.51 worth of construction tools, i.e. electric circular saw, tool box, misc nails, nut, bolts, screws, sander, all of my tools.
