I have recently purchased a vehicle from this horrible place. I should have known better since my husband bought a vehicle there almost 2 years ago and have had nothing but issues. I had the new vehicle for 1 week before enging lights started coming on and the transmission is slipping. We called their poor excuse of a customer service department and got no where of course. We took it to the only shop we were told that could look at it and the shop tells me there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. The ABS light and traction control light is also coming on. I don't feel safe putting my children in the vehicle and I can't seem to get anywhere with these people. How can they claim to help people to rebuild their credit when they are selling lemons?? I will making complaints to the BBB along with the attorney general, and I will retain a laywer if it comes down to it.

if you bought a car from drivetime look into their license - sounds strange but they have an assumed name which is not registered with the state - since that is the case they need a collector's license and do not have one so possible to refute all payments, give it a try

What Kind of a Purchase Was It?

Do you have a warranty?  If you do have a warrantry, is it STILL in effect?  If you never had a warranty, then you bought the car "AS IS" which means you accept the car in the current condition, problems and all and they aren't going to give you free service...period.  If you had a warranty and the warranty period has since passed, then nothing is covered anymore and they aren't going to fix it for free.  If, at the time of purchase, they offered you a warranty and you declined that coverage, then you took the gamble.  So then, I don't understand what the complaint it.  If you have a warranty and they refuse to honor it, then yes, you certainly do have a legitimate complaint.  If you don't have a warranty then why would you expect them to fix it for free?  And before the comment is made, I don't work for them!
