will with the warranty department left a voicemail in forming to take the car to another repair shop a day later. called will and could not get him on the line spoke to a blake who informed me he was ordering me a new transmission which would take 2-3 to be deliever to repair shop B. spoke to the tech at repair shop B and was informed the were going to rebuild the transmission. in the mean time i am having to pay for a rental out of my pocket when i just paid $450 car note for the month of December. it appears to me drive time over inflates the price of used cars and prey on people with bad credit. they know the cars are lemmons to begin with thats why the roll the price of the warranty in to the contract price of the used lemmon they know exactly what they are doing. as a consumer i am feed up with car lots taking advantage of people.
i will be filling a complaint with the state of Texas against. so far i have not had any look with find an attorney who handles lemmon law complaints to file a law suit agains drive time. if any one know of an attorney to assist me please let me know. Thank you...

POSTED: Friday, December 21, 2012There's a good reason for that. The Texas lemon law covers only new vehicles and used vehicles which are still under the original manufacturers warranty. Your 2007 Impala doesn't qualify.
Your only real protection is having the car checked out by an independent mechanic BEFORE you buy it. Otherwise, you have no idea what your setting yourself up for.
