Drivetime - Ugly Duckling ripoff dishonest name of lot should be LEMON TIME have had 3 gas tanks installed all leaking fuel ripoff Las Vegas nevada

I bought a 2002 Izuzu Axiom in June 2006 from Drivetime at the Fremont store in Las Vegas, Nevada. Within 2 days of driving off the lot the engine light came on. I took it back to the lot and was told by the service dept that there was a problem with the fuel tank. They kept the vehicle for 4 days and called me to say its done that they put a brand new tank in. Again within a couple of days the engine light came on again.

I took it back to Drivetime and now was told that it was the fuel pump, again they kept the vehicle for a couple of days and called me to say its done. Two weeks go by and again engine light came on. I took it back to Drivetime and told them that I put $4000.00 down on this car and I have not had the vehicle for a month. The service department tells me that they are going to put a new gas tank in because its leaking.This time they kept the vehicle for a week. They call I pick up the vehicle and a couple of weeks go by and I notice when I try to fill the truck up with gas that it will only hold 12 gallons of gas. I was getting about 180 miles to a full tank of gas.

i call Drivetime and tell the Service manager (Rusty) that I'm only getting 180 miles to the tank. He states that does not sound right to please bring him the vehicle. Again they keep the vehicle for a week and half. I receive a call from the service manager stating that there is a hole in the gas tank. and there going to install another gas tank.

I get the vehicle back and again same thing only getting 180 miles or less to a tank of gas. I bring it back to the lot and now I'm told that a gas line is leaking and there going to replace it. I get the vehicle back and same thing again.I call the lot and the service manager tells me to take it to the Izuzu dealer that they are going to take a look at it.

I take it to Izuzu and the mechanic looks under the vehicle and says I know what your problem is just by looking under the vehicle. The gas tank has a huge dent in the tank.I told him that Drivetime states that they replaced the tank. hestarts to work on the vehicel and an hour later tells me that the tank has a hole in it that has been attempted to be repaired by putting epoxy on it. He also shows me the tank and shows me the huge dent in it. He wrote up a invoice for a new tank to be put in.

I take the vehicle back to Drivetime and went staright in to talk with the general manager (anthony) he tells me that he understands why I'm so upset he tells me that he will make sure that a brand new tank is put in. I get the truck back after a couple of weeks because they state that they had to order a tank from the dealer. I get the vehicle back and a couple of months go by and I start smelling gas from the vehicle.

I take it back to Drivetime and was told that there was a problem with something to do with fuel. I ask to speak with the service manager and is told that there is a new service manager and is name is Dave he comes over all happy and introduces himself I start telling him that this is outrageous. He says I dont know what you are talking about I tell him that this vehicle has had 2 gas tanks and everything to do with the fuel replaced according to them. He then tells me that as long as they fix the vehicle i shouldnt be complaining. He tells me that now that he is the service manager that it will be fixed right.

To make a very long story short this vehicle one year to ate since i bought is again in there shop for a faulty gas tank. I tell them that I refuse to take the vehicle back I'm not going to put my family back in a vehicle that is leaking gas and has had 4 tanks put in. There responce is then this will go on your credit as a reposession.
