Duane 'Shorty' Davis of Shorty's Pit Beef is a caterer in Maryland who no one told me had a record of making bomb threats, harassment and other things which make him very shocking to have around my family.
Furthermore, I found out that Mr. Davis is being investigated by the Joint Terrorism Task Force of the Secret Service and the FBI as well as the Capitol Police for making threats against elected officials.
This is what I found on Mr. Davis from The Lake County News Sun:
"Duane 'Shorty' Davis told Lake County Circut Court Judge Theodore Potkonjak he had no choice but to plead guilty to disorderly conduct charges for making a bomb threat at the Lake County News Sun last Christmas Eve."
"Davis, 49, of Zion, is expected to serve 30-months probation, undego mental health evaluations, complete 100 hours of public service and serve six months in Lake County Jail."
Why is this guy even out and about?
Then I come to find out that Mr. Davis also has family involved in street gangs and he had intimidated a Muslim couple who shot his 16-year-old son Gerrell Davis while Gerrell was breaking into their home.
Here is that report:
"Malcom said police are continuing to investigate the case after the couple and their relatives were subjected to death threats online and through the telephone."
"Hassan Hakeem, president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, believes the community has been brought together during this situation."
I was led to believe this was a legitimate businessperson and now I find out about this violent, violent past. This man was around children. He should be supervised because he is obviously violent and mentally ill.

I met Shorty- Duane G. Davis in 2011 in front of the Baltimore County Courthouse in May 2011. I was there primarily to film him regarding his upcoming trial that involved Shortys protest art project that was blown out of proportion by the police and fraudulently presented by the State. I am an artist too, and I was interested in Shorty's political points. Art has always been at the forefront of all protest.
I found Duane G. Davis to be a warm, friendly, and very animated and humorous person with a valid political and racial point to make.
As a white suburban woman I admit I was initially taken aback by Shortys frank talk, but as I grew to know him better, I found it to be refreshing that he, as a black man, would take the time to explain lots of things I did not understand.
Instead of being threatened, I appreciated his patience and willingness to help me understand.
The person who wrote this "rip off" report is hiding behind anonymity and therefore is a coward who pretends to have the interests of "children" at heart, but in reality is nothing more than another pumped up self righteous person with a faux indignation that is intended to garner attention.
Duane G. ( Shorty ) Davis was found to be innocent of "bomb threats". Shortys toilets are art, and have been legally declared to be art.
I am asking the rip Off Report to remove this anonymous persons unfounded tirade, please.
