Dun and Bradstreet blackmails small business. I own a small business and we are growing. I received a call from a DnB representative that told me I needed to update and correct my DnB listing. In order to do so I had to pay DnB approximately $500. I did it. I went in to my credit and updated some information (Which should have been their job) I have come to find out there is some fraudulent information on my DnB credit. The unusual thing they had debts on my report but no creditor names. These debts are for $50 and $100. nothing big. I asked the DnB agent who these people were and he replied the only way we can find that out was to dispute them all (About 4). Well I disputed them and about 2-3 weeks later received an email that verified the debts but with no debtors names. I called DnB to find out who these people were and come to find out I have been locked out of my account. DnB's account representative said I have issues with my account and need to make a payment for me to see the debtors. {Lockout note in red}((There is an issue with your DNBi login credentials. I asked him again "I have to pay you money to find out who these companies are?" he said yes they in another department. When I told him that I was going to Ripoffreport.com he than said well he doesn't know what the issues are but there in another department.
DnB is simply blackmailing small business's and holding your credit hostage. If you are a small business and have been contacted by DnB, be very careful they are preying on small business just like us.
