I ordered a credit card from E-Credit Solutions in November of last year. In December, I decided I did not want the credit card, and I called to cancel, and to cancel the debit that the company would be making in January in the amount of $199.95.
I was assured that my account would not be debited. January rolled around, and my account was debited, and I was charged $25.00 from my bank because of insufficient funds. When I called, ECS insisted that it was my fault, and refused to give me a refund. I then contacted my bank and told them that it was an unauthorized charge.
After this was done, I called ECS and informed them that if anything else was charged to my account by their company or any of its associates, I would sue them.
To make a long story short, I was charged by 4 more companies associated with ECS, each of which was unexpected so I was charged $25.00 from my bank. So basically I had to pay $125.00 out of pocket for ECS' mistake.
I am a college student and I cannot afford to just throw money away like that. The company was absolutely no help to me, so I am in the process of writing the complaint department, and demanding a refund for the $125.00 that I had to pay for their mistake.
If you have been screwed over by ECS PLEASE contact me by posting a comment on the Rip-Off Report. If there are a number of people together who contact ECS it will be much more effective.
