i purchased a computer for 600.00 in june of 2006, it was a top of the line e machines from best buy. in 4 months the power supply had blown 4 times and the mother board needed to be replaced. i sent it in for repair yet again in september 2006. in october of 2006 they sent me the wrong computer and sent mine to a man in jefferson city, missourri. the company e machines didnt even bother to notify me of the mishap, the other customer notified me!!!! i sent his computer back to the company at their request on October 9, 2006. It is now November the 9th and i have been without my computer since september. all emachines will say is they are still trying to figure out what to do about the situation. this computer is my livly hood, this is how i provide for my 2 kids and pay all my bills!!! they refuse to replace the computer (my computer that the man never sent back in).

SO if this your computer is your livelihood, how did you provide for your family for 6 months?? (From June to December)
If a computer is that importaant to you, get a REAL computer, not an Emachine!!

I have been lucky with machines, I have bought three in past few years with no problems! But I have read that they do have power source problem. They did rip me off four hundred dollars after I connected to their internet service. I could not stay connected so they told me to use 1-800 number to stay connected and then they stole $400.00 out of my checking account from Arvest bank here in Missouri. I don't bank with them any more either! They simply stated that they had a contract with the internet provider and it was really part on Emachine and not their problem!
