I paid a $9.50 toll in May that that was mailed to the wrong address. Later they claimed I owed a $5.00 late fee plus added $25.00 in other fees. Then today on July 30th they send a toll collection from April for the first time with $100 in cilil penalties. I paid that $8 yolk immediately like I do with other bills. I will not pay the other penalties . I had asked in writing and on phone to getbproof I owe the charges without reply, and just a rude bill collector on the phone. They are arrogant, apathetic and incompetent, a bad combination.

E-470 billing and violation process
AUTHOR: E-470truth - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Monday, August 01, 2011
The unpaid tolls continue to age through the billing/violation process while everything is done to find a correct address. The registered owner is responsible for updating his/her address. After the second month of nonpayment, the tolls are moved to the collection process. The collection agency uses many methods to find a good address such as checking magazine subscriptions or utility bills.
When a current address is found, the next piece of E-470 correspondence is mailed with the appropriate fees and/or fines that have accrued during nonpayment of the tolls. Customers with questions or issues regarding their tolls should contact the EXpressToll Service Center in a timely manner. Customers may request a hearing at any time during the toll payment/violation process.
