It's been reports that EA are cutting loose servers of certain games. Godfather 2 is one of the games online that is very active regardless of the time it came out. Thousands of people still plays the game online including myself, and many more are still buying this game expecting multi-player action.
In my case this is the only game I have and I play it everyday online and it's the reason why I got a year subscription, which is to play this game online as advertised on the game. I also actually refer people to buy this game which they did along with the XBOX 360 online service for a year just for the company to decide that a multiplayer game should become a single player game.
