EBay has a powerseller named Nancobbler with 377 cases of negative feedback(complaints) during the past 13 months. Ebay has refused to investigate complaints which may include cases of fraud, cases of retaliatory negative feedback, abusive language and intimidation/threats made to discourage complaints.
Ebay tried to stop a state investigation of a powerseller, refuses to correct false understated negative feedback data, assigns former member of Attorney General staff to protect powerseller against injured customers, reffuses to investigate power seller with 377 negatives during past 13 months, and stonewalls all victim requests for performance info on the powerseller.
Ebay has refused to provide info on number of squaretrade complaints as well as involuntary refunds by PayPal made against the offending powerseller. Ebay has informed Nancobbler that a former member of the attorney general's staff has been assigned to help the powerseller stay on top of the hundrededs of consumer complaints.
Unbelievably, a member of eBays management group personally called a state regulatory agency investigating Nancobblers predatory behavior and provided information endorsing a false claim by Nancobbler intended to cause the investigation to be terminated.These communications are in writing.Taking sides in a dispute between eBayers id supposedly againt eBay's corporate policy.
Nancobbler has claimed separately that an eBay staff employee has been advising her and identifying specific actions to be taken against her victims complaints.
Ebay management refuses to become engaged and delegates these customer communications to poorly qualified junior staff who only respond to specific customer problems with generalized policy bromides and irrelevant pontifications.
One eBay staffer even simply responded to a complaint against a specific eBay executive that the eBay executive directly named in the complaint was not even an eBay emloyee (false) so no response to the complaint was required at all!!
Ebay staff does not reveal their full names and titles or email addresses so there is not accountability for resolution of customer problems. Ebay has become arrogant, introverted, and insentive to its customers. If eBay does not self police its auction system to purge predators the government will have to. If eBay does not establish a modern customer relations policy it will sink in a sea of litigation and fail as a business.
Where is the eBay Board of directors? Are they all asleep at the switch or financially compromised by corporate management?
