EBay, Inc. eBay charges for listing & pulls w/o given reason San Jose California

I'm a former seller and I have had many listings removed myself and it was people who were most likely to be my competition who noticed listing violations. I lost quite a bit of money myself but I made the corrections and sold my products with no further incidents. And I agree that people should at least be refunded their fees. As far as protecting criminals its purely science fiction.

I agree with what you said Ebay is protecting the criminals on their site........They know they're committing a crime but are trying to hide it   and failing............someone needs to contact the B.B.B. and the Consumer Affairs Dept. and get ebay taken completely off the internet and charge them with internet FRAUD

My advise is NOT to even go on Ebay and/or fall for any of their fraudulent promises  they're lairs they're CRIMINALS  and they WILL

My listings have been canceled because of a consumer complaint. First it was a report of selling bootleg DVDs. Once I sent eBay a link of where I purchase the newly released DVD, eBay reported that there would be a note placed in my account stating the merchandise was legitimate. Although, there was no credit applied to my account for the removal of my listing, and I had to create my listing from scratch since the data was deleted...

I had the same problem from a drop-ship supplier who handled air tools. The rules are difficult to follow and the Power-Sellers can get away with it because of the amount of money paid to eBay each month in listing fees

Now I make lye soap and the only complaints I get are from having my URL on my pictures, this also violates the links policy and my listing gets removed for branding my photographs. Considering the same information is useless in a search and cannot improve search engine rankings, and the image was used in a listing long before the revised links policy went into effect

The bottom line is that eBay will do whatever they want as dictated in their user agreement. Power of the people does not exist on eBay, it is just corporate business. No wonder the stock prices are falling from all the negative publicity on consumer advocacy sites like this one.

Just study the rules and try to be compliant, it is all you can do if you wish to sell on eBay.

I have been there! I have had MANY listings removed,and then I have been accused of something I did not do, lost my listing fees and I have NEVER received AN ACCURATE answer as to WHY? just some form letter NOT answering your question. Just reiterating the accusation!! I have offered to show receipts for items they accused me of selling to be counterfeit and they have declined my offer. (To show authenticity) Kind of strange if you ask me...I have spoke with other ebay users in the community about listings removed early only to find out that Ebay turns thier head on Powersellers not following rules but cancels new sellers if they so much as sneeze in a fashion not outlined by ebay.
I have read MANY other stories on how Ebay discriminates and cancelled an entire family of NEW sellers. I have searched (The exact items I had removed from Ebay) in Ebay and outside of Ebay to find over 33,000 and EVEN some titles stating Designer Inspired. Why are these NOT removed? They happened to be Powersellers. Maybe there is some truth to that.... anyway, I seriously think that we have been violated against. I feel that if Ebay wants to enforce a rule then they NEED to enforce it ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE BOARD. They are always using the terms "You have not been targeted in any way" I wonder if that means the opposite and they are trying to cover......I do Know 1 thing for SURE I will make sure that ANYBODY and EVERYBODY I know will hear my story and will know NOT to sell on Ebay!!

I agree..I have been a member of Ebay for about 8 years and have completed over 5000 transactions. Out of those, I would estimate about 6 of those auctions were terminated early by Ebay or Verio for violations. After asking why, neither could give me a reason. And yes, they take the listing fees and do not give you your money back.
