I was scammed out of 99.00 by EDP Reporting. I did apply for online short term loans recently. I never authorized this company to take any money from my account. I rectified this my bank and had to file a fraud form on this so called business. I also tried several times to call these people by there freebie number which was on the copy of this fraudulent debit. Of couse all reps were busy, i called twice, during the business hours, got a lady ( same lady both times even though calls were placed hours apart, offering to pass along a hand written message and a return call from "someone" in 48 hours. I questioned her about all this and if she was aware this business was all over the internet as a scam? She replied "I am just a receptionist" How can you work for common criminals I asked her, again the same rote reply as if she was reading it from her cheat sheet. I also sent an email to this company but never got a confimation that it was even sent. I had to close my checking account over this scam. I would love to know how these criminals are still doing this and still have a website up and running. I did file a internet fraud report, IC3 with the Internet Crime Complaint Center. I have read all the other complaints from innocent victims like me and I have yet to see "bridgette" confirm anything except that she likes to use weak excuses and be rude. I have not seen her prove one of these debits with any authorization. She can't. I am lucky, My money is being refunded as the bank is going after it for me. Some people make an honest living, EDP & their self centered spoke person make their by stealing other peoples money with unauthorized debits. They find out the account information by using your bank account tracking number and they back date the date on he electronic date as well. Tomorrow the local Police will be clued in and a report will be filed by me. I will be glad to retain a lawyer and can or would be glad to substantiate the claims of fraudulent debits with one lawyer already retained for many people who have been scammed. I have my proof, where is EDP reportings? Oh and by the way, They also use the name Starter Debit Direct but the 800 number is the same. I hope someone does to them what they have done to me and others. In the meantime word of mouth is the best means of destructing these so called scam artists. I wont be happy until everytime someone googles their name that Fraud is right along side it.
