Corporate Advocacy Program™
Not until today did I learn that EHarmony placed a fraudulent billing agreement against my PayPal account--despite their own acknowledgement that the account has been cancelled.
All of my attempts to stop billing on a cancelled account have been ignored. At least two of my requests were given reference numbers but ignored: reference numbers '070621-001783 and '070721-000927.'
EHarmony provides no telephone numbers on its website - it has been impossible for me to contact a customer service representative to better resolve this matter. All complaints must be filed on their website; however, my repeated requests have been ignored.
I have filed a complaint with BBBOnline. I encourage all who have experienced similar deceptive practices with eHarmony to file as well.

Your failure to provide your last name is very suspicious. Please provide me the full name of your supervisor and the direct phone number.
The xxxxxxxxxx email address was in the signature block of my June 21, 2007 correspondence to you requesting that you stop billing against the cancelled account. There is no reason why I would have more than one account with you--regardless of whether my email addresses have changed over time. Why on earth would I open numerous accounts only to pay double or triple for one service? I can think of few things that are more common than the change of personal email addresses. Is it your charge that a change of email address equates to a brand new account? Please do not be absurd.
As far as the allegation that you have not received payment: eHarmony placed a fraudulent billing agreement against my PayPal account and continues to bill against a cancelled account on April 21, 2007, May 21, 2007, June 21, 2007 and now July 21, 2007.
I look forward to receiving your supervisor's full name and contact information.
Sincerely,
Sara
