The 3500.00 was supposedly deducted from the 150,000.00 to pay for Certificate of Clearance and Insurance. The Check looks so real it has a routing number and an account number on the bottom of the check and is from ING Direct which is a financial institution the bank is Chase bank.
It is stated in the letter to cal Lisa Johnson or Henry Olga at 1-604-783-5171 for further info.
I decided to do some checking on the internet before I rushed off to the bank or called theses people. Low and Behold I found ut other people have received the exact same letter only to find out it is a SCAM.
The account number is a good number but there are no funds. You have to pay stop payment fees, insufficient funds fees, bad check fees and pay the 3500.00 back.
Thank God for the internet. Don't believe anything that sounds to good to be true.
