ELS Production is a corrupted company that just like to TAKE your money. I sent this company $270 dollars in good trust. They said that they will have my copies done in 48 hours. It took up to four weeks for me to receive my order. Than they ask for a addition $30 dollars. So I sent them the addition $30 dollars. However my order was still on hold for more than three more weeks.

I call them and they claim that they did not receive their $30 dollars. They also said that their cds are retail ready to put in the store, that includes shrink warp and a bar code. When I receive my order the cds was shrink warp with no barcode on them. How could I market my cds with no barcode on them? I also notice mispelled words on the back of the cd, mispelled names on credits. I order one hundred cds, they only sent 88 of them.

ELS Production did a low quality, soppy job on our cds. They are a Rip-off. I try calling and leaving messages, however they do not respond to any e-mail or phone calls concerning customer value, and when they do responed, they are rude and dishonest and has a attitude towards the customer like its the customer fought their products are bad.

ELS Productions are fraudulent, they are obviously a scam, and they cheated me out of $300 Dollars.
I am very disappointed and let down by this company.

I disagree

AUTHOR: Chris Shepard - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, September 13, 2009

ELS has been nothing but helpful to me.  From setting up files, giving me advice on how to create a better looking product and, not to be overlooked, getting my product to me in very short order.  I have no problem standing up for an excellent company who delivers time and time again.  I am about to send my third cd to them and wouldn't give a second thought to recommending them to anyone.  Price and quality and service?  What's missing?  Nothing.

30 Dollar Money order was cashed on March 23, 2006 by ELS Production Ripoff Company.

AUTHOR: Alex - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, April 20, 2006

I have some new information on my complaint case. Mr. Ryan claim he did not get my 30 dollar
money order. Well I called Global Express Money Orders, INC and give them my money order
tracking number, and they said that my 30 dollar money order paid to ELS Production was CASHED
on March 23, 2006. So why did Mr. Ryan cashed the money order, only sent us 88 cds when we
order 100 of them and said he did not received the 30 dallor money order?

They mislead their customers with False advertisement

AUTHOR: Alex - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 07, 2006

The only thing this company does is LIE, CHEAT, & STEAL. I contacted ELS Productions after seeing a posting in "The Indie Bible" . We paid in advance for 100 copies of our album to hopefully sell in stores.

Their Advertisement said "You get a free barcode", which I did not receive. Their Advertisement also said "Full color retail Ready 100 cds $244 dollars in just 24-48 Hours".
I only received 88 cds, pay $300 dollars, and it took up to four weeks for me to receive my order.
And must of all, nothing about a setup charge was even listed in the Advertisement. THATS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.

Just read the Rebuttal: REBUTTAL Owner of company above. You can see for yourself how Mr. Ryan treats his customers. He's rude, dishonest and has a attitude towards his customers. And thats not the way to do bussiness. Thats very unprofessional.

Mr. Ryan is dishonest because he said that I order from him before with no problems. Thats not true. The First time I order from him, he had mispelled words on the back of our cd and mispelled names. He refuse to fix it. We had to get the back of all our cds reprinted & shrink warp be another company. That cost us alot of money.

We went back to him for a second order because we give him a second chance. And he blow it. Right now, there is a delay on our third cd because he printed our cd with no barcode on it. That cost us even more money because we have to unwarp 88 cds and send them to another company to print a barcode on them and reshrink warp.

He says I dont understanding the process of duplicating CD and packaging. Thats not true
again. We had our first cd done by discmakers. They where very friendly, they had great customer service. And they did a great job cds WITH NO PROBLEMS. Words Spelled correctly, no hidden fees, they answer phone calls, and most of all they had a good attitude towards the customers. We went to ELS Production because their price was lower than Discmakers.

He says I dont communicate well. Again, not true. You can't communicate with someone if
they hang up the phone on you. The Real problem is that Mr. Ryan has a bad attitude problem and acts immature.

I still have reported ELS Productions to all of these agencies and am going to continue to report them until something is done. Send in copies of the rip-off reports and let them see how consumers are treated.

So I want to warn people about ELS Productions. Don't give this man, or his company, any money. He is full of IT and you will never get your "investment" money back! What a shameful Rip-Off!

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! #1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

The CDs were shipped as ordered, and proofed to the customer before final shipment.

AUTHOR: Ryan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, April 06, 2006

Mr Solomon is upset because of his own mistake and not understanding the process of duplicating CD and packaging. We have talked with him and his associate numerous times both on the phone on our toll free number and over e-mail. Unfortunately as we tried to resolve his problems he continually berated us and called us liars. On the last phone call after trying to talk with him and being continually interrupted with a barrage of insults I finally hung up.

He sent his CD to us with one paper attached that I still have on file. The paper did not ask for anything other than 100 CDs. It had no details of what he was after. We called him and sorted through the details and checked his art. His art was not printable so we discussed solutions. One solution was for him to fix his art and resend it to us through the mail or e-mail or, for us to fix his art. If he wanted us to do it it would normally cost $45.00 for a typesetting charge. This is our customary charge for his particular specifications. We offered him a discount down to $30.00 to help him out and he agreed. He said he would send us another check. We told him in the meantime we would get the art laid out and send him a proof. We did the art and sent him a proof. When a proof is sent it is the customers responsibility to check for errors and report them back to us.

He found some errors and we corrected them and sent him another proof. He approved the proof. There wasn't a barcode on the proof and he never asked for one in any of his correspondence with us. Many of our customers(well over 50%) do not want a barcode. We can't assume they do. We charge $15.00 for a barcode, he didn't ask for one nor include the charge for it in his payment with his order and didn't mention it when we talked with him nor did he notice it wasn't on the proof. He assumed every order had a barcode.

We still had not received the $30.00 and told him the order would be on hold until final payment was received. After a couple weeks he called and was very upset he didn't have his CDs. He called us thieves etc. and wanted his money back. We offered to send him his money back minus the $30.00 for the layout (the layout that I had already discounted). We explained we still hadn't received the additional payment.

He called us liars and said we had the money. I finally offered to send him 88 of the 100 CDs which represented the $30.00 that hadn't come yet, and that as soon as we received the final payment I would release the other 12 (Even though that would actually cost me extra because of shipping two packages instead of one). He agreed. After he got the CDs he called mad again and accused of not wanting to put the barcode on. When I tried to explain that I had the order in front of me and nowhere on it did it ask for one nor had he paid for one he kept cutting me off and calling me a liar and a thief etc. I finally hung up on him.

We do CDs for people all over the country. Most of our orders ship in one or two business days as long as there are not problems with the master CD or the art. Mr. Solomon, thinks that because he thinks something we should know what he wants. We are not mind readers. His communication and order were skimpy at best. Even with all that we tried to take care of the problems. It is hard to take care of customers who assume that everything is your fault and doesn't want to settle down and come up with a solution. If he had listened to me we could have worked something out like we did with the missing $30.00.

Just for the record we still haven't received the $30.00. I asked him to check with the money order company and see if they could cancel it and reissue him a new one, but he wasn't willing to do that. He claims he mailed it but he didn't get an delivery confirmation or anything like that. We told him we believed he mailed it but that it might have gotten lost in the mail. We offered to take the amount on credit card and then send him the check if it did arrive. He didn't have a credit card.

Unfortunately, we get burned by people who claim they will or have sent us money. In the past I used to go ahead and send out their CDs while they sent out the check. My account receivables have many such situations where we never got paid the final amount. Often that final amount represents our profit. We had to come up with a policy that no order ships until it is paid in full. These are custom products, if I don't get paid I can't use them or put them back on the shelf, they go in the garbage.

Mr. Solomon is obviously upset. The problem is he just didn't communicate well. He has the product that he has paid for and yet he wants a refund of $300.00 which includes the $30.00 we haven't received. If he would have let me talk on the last phone call I would have offered to send him bar code labels that could be applied to the case but he never gave me a chance to talk. I will only take so much abuse.

We receive unsolicited e-mails praising our service all of the time. I have a bunch of them posted on my web site. I have been in business for 20 years. I have had the same toll free number for the last 10 or 11 years. I couldn't stay in business by cheating customers. I certainly value my customers more than $30.00 but I have to be smart at the same time. My customer's good intentions do not pay my bills.

The ironic thing of this order is, it is not his first order with us. He has ordered before with no problems. To call us scam artists and corrupt etc. shows that he is being unreasonable. Actually his complaint above is nicer than he treated us on the phone.

I will not refund Mr. Solomon anything. I have already lost money on this order and he has received exactly what he paid for and ordered. The CDs are still marketable and can even be put in a lot of stores without the barcode. If he can call us in a calm and reasonable voice I would be willing to give him a barcode for free and mail him adhesive printed labels to put on his cases. If I receive the $30.00 money order, which at this point I highly doubt that I will, I will send it back to him. Past that I am finished with this order.

I am sure Mr. Solomon will not want to use our services any more. Just a word to him, whoever you choose to make your CDs in the future, it is a very good idea when sending an order to someone to make sure you spell out everything you want. If I call Dell computers and talk to them about a computer I want in detail, I don't just send them a check and a letter saying "SEND IT". I would go back over in writing everything I had talked with them about and make sure I was getting everything I thought I was getting. Mr. Solomon is more a "SEND IT" kind of guy. If he had given us all of the details he thinks we should have known, we could have avoided this mess.
