Employment was as an Outside Sales Representative. Worked 8 months for 40 hours a week under control of management and company rules doing inside sales. Less than 20% of time was outside the office. Was paid $1800 which was nearly $7000 short of minimum wage. Was conned into signing contract with false promises of large wages. Quotas, pay scale and deductions from residuals actually prevents reps from making ANY money. Even falsely accused of theft to try to prevent collection of unemployment. EMG lies to the reps who do not know any better. Calls of customer complaints go through company receptionist and are never patched through to the reps, so they have no clue about EMG's shady business practices. I would like to see EMG and First American Processing stopped and for sales reps to get together and file a class action. There are very large numbers of young people working for free for the companies and they never file anything because they do not know their rights. EMG has a fast revolving door of reps who end up doing inside sales and then quit because they were not getting paid. The reps believe the contract leaves them with no rights. It is outrageous what EMG is getting away with and I am interested in class action. I am actively seeking representation. Anyone that can help, I would appreciate it.
