My fiancee went to EMS in PASAY to pick up her package for her embassy intervtew and was refused by FLORINTINO GOCONGJO the supervisor who told her she would have to travel to Ozamis to get hte package, even though it was physically there. She told him it was important for her embassy interview and was already 10 days late. He confirmed it was there but refused to give her HER package even though she had all her identification. He then told her it was already loaded to be shipped to Ozamis the mnext morning and maybe her family could get it for her and send it back to Manila LBC, at her expense. Then the next day and the next her family tried to retrieve the package in Ozamis, but were told it was never received and was still in Manila. After several more calls to Manila they told her it was in Ozamis. The package only contained documents required for the United States Embassy, but the size of the box was similar to a laptop computor and we beleive it was stolen on that premise as so many are stolen every week. This FLORINTINO GOCONGJO should be held strictly responsible and removed from his employment. This doesnt even mention the disrespectful attitude he gave my fiancee and her cousin. He was outrageously rude and obnoxious. When will the Philippine government start to get rid of and charge these type of employees with crimes????? Hope United States Embassy will pressure the Philippines to do something about this corruption, or at least help the USPS with there difficult job of getting packages to there customers.
