Then, a couple of months ago, I ran into my old paperwork and thought I'd see if there was anything about them listed here. I got the live number listed in this thread and talked to a person. There had been some additional last page offers added, and they worked with me in getting some that I qualified for satisfied.
The laptop arrived yesterday. Not the model promised, but one that is actually newer, more highly rated and selling for more. It's not as well known of a brand, and the specs are a little different, but I'm pretty psyched, it's worth about $600.

From "Gift Redemption."

We will see, and I will post as soon as I open the package.
Again, I could not have done this without the help of this site. There is no way.
I started this what? In February was it?
way too long, but i guess well worth the wait.
Calling the numbers listed instead of emailing is what got the ball rolling on this.

Ripoff Report helped me get an iPod
AUTHOR: Jessica - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, June 09, 2005
Here is a brief description of my experience: I signed up almost 3 months ago and completed all 6 required offers right away - a couple credit cards, a few trial memberships, ink cartridges order. After about a month, my gift status page still said I needed to complete 2 offers. I emailed Incentive Reward Center through the website and received a response shortly saying that some offers can take 6-8 weeks to go through. So I waiting another month, and no change. I emailed them again and got a useless email response. I started leaving voicemail messages at the phone numbers given here (866-301-7260 and 561-306-1915). I never once spoke to a person or got a call back, but I finally received an email asking me to fax or mail in email confirmations of the remaining two offers. I only had an email for one (a Citi credit card) but not for the other (AOL MusicNet) and explained this in my fax. I left voicemails explaining what I had sent as well. A few days later I got an email saying that they received my confirmation and I now qualified for the iPod and did not need to send in the voucher. They said it would take 3-4 weeks to ship it. At this point, I sent them an email (at jquiroz@marketresearchsite.net) basically saying that I hope that they send the iPod soon since my 90 days was rapidly approaching. About a week later I received another email saying they could not get me an iPod and would instead send a check. Sure enough, one week later (two days ago) I received a check for $400 in the mail. I almost couldn't believe it.
So in all it was almost 3 months. I spent about $75 - some stuff I needed, other stuff I didn't. I guess I would say it was worth it since I had the time to be persistent and didn't spend that much money. I hope everyone who hasn't yet received their gift, receives it soon. Just be persistent and leave messages - and there is no need to be too rude, in my experience. I did occasionally mention that I would have to report them if I didn't recieve my gift.
Good luck!

Talked to "Ami"@ 561-674-9700 she said that my gift order should have been processed
months ago. Ami said she has all my notes and all my emails i have sent over teh past
months. Ami put me on hold and went to a supervisor, Her supervisor is forwarding all my
information to "fullfillment" to be processed. Ami said "I should get my gift in 3-4
weeks."
Ami also said that normally when UPS or Fedex gets the order, the shipper will email us a
tracking number.
We will keep you posted.
If not, I will be calling back in 4 weeks!
All I have been getting is the same "runaround emails" check your gift status or mail your information to FLA, (which ive allready done)
I still keep getting the same BS as i got when I first started this, no one will listen or pay attention to my emails. Im fedup, no laptop and highly poed. I sent another email tonight, not that it will make any diffrence.
Tommorrow, im taking one of those call numbers and call and see what happens. I will post info as I get it. I guess i jumped the Gun in actually thinking they were gonna send them something.

Wasn't easy, but not that its here, I actually think I appreciate it even more! ;)
I owe far more thanks to the people on this board than CRI. If you're one of the people still trying to get what you're owed, do what this site suggest. Document everything, write the BBB and FL/NC attorneys general. Nag, nag, nag.

AUTHOR: Teddy - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, April 12, 2005
It has been about 2 weeks since they emailed me and told me my voucher was going to be waved.
I emailed them about a week ago, and the only thing they told me was that "we will check into this." They gave me no tracking number. You know, I am about to give up, but I have nothing to lose but time. This has got to work. Like you, I have spent about $100 total. I cancelled all the other offers. It seems they do listen on the other end, but they do not get back to you in a timely manner.
I am still frustrated, but Im hanging in there.
Whatever next reply I get from them, I will post it regardless if it is negative or positive so people on here can see. I think I started this the first week in Feb if I remember correctly.
So it has been about 2 months now.
I will post back as soon as I hear anything.

How I handled these people...maybe was lucky....
AUTHOR: Bubba - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, March 09, 2005
OK, so what I did was set out to peg these people rotten liars if nothing else....the one thing that kinda kept me interested was that I read EVERYTHING associated with it and saw that there was no "fine print" that I could readily ID as a way for them to crawfish out with. Also, every offer that you were asked to participate in were blue chip things, like BlockBuster, Capitol One and many other similar ones, and I figured that companies of that ilk wouldn't fool with an ad company that outright lied, and these blue chip companies, BlockBuster, et al, were the ones who were definitely the ones who were benefitting financially. I not only thought, I KNEW that BlockBuster, et al, would finagle around with wording that would trick you, but I did not think that they would prticipate in an outright thieving scam lie. So, I trusted my ability to read and understand BS legalese, and I kept C&Ps and screen grabs of everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING associted with this.....I opened every link that went to any sort fo rules and regs, then read them well and and copied/pasted them to saved files, and I kept screen grabs of everything, too. There is no way that a person could document this better than I did...maybe as well, but you couldn't do better than two copies of everything (C&Ps of text and screen grabs of every inch of every page....many pages requiring four or more grabs)
When I got into these "offers", I noticed that some (if not all) of them would default say that you could go fro a "free trial" for an offer, then sort of imply that you were being taken to the point where you were to sign up for this free trial, when in eality you would be taken to the offer, but it would default to an expensive package. However, you simply needed to reset the offer to the free trial, maybe with a radio button, maybe a link, whatever, instead of taking the default costly order....for example, one of these offers that I participated in was from Ancestry.com. Well, the link said something to the effect that you could try this for free, yet when you picked the link it defaulted to a package that would charge your credit card for like several hundred bucks for a year! I simply picked a different link or radio button (can't recall right off hand, but I do have screen grabs of it) that went to a 2 week trial offer, and like I said I kept copies of EVERYTHING. Had I just kept clicking my way through the Ancestry.com deal, I would have given them permission to charge my card for hundreds of bucks!!
Now, it seems like maybe one of the offers, maybe BlockBuster's 2 week free trial or something like that, required a credit card number, so in an abundance of caution I used a PayPal Visa DEBIT card that drafted on my PayPal account so that they could get maybe 35 bucks max if they decided to screw me over (the debit card # was given to BlockBuster and NOT this ad company, but I was still cautious anyway!). I figured if they razooed it I would get it back if I could anyway, but I darnedd sure wasn't gonna give 'em a credit card number!!
So, what went down was I participated in these six offers, and the best thing is that I liked several of the free offers anyway. Not good enough to pay for them, mind you, but it made this just that much less a drag to do. The 2 weeks of free DVDs was fun, the month with Stamps.com and the free 5 bucks of postage that came with it, etc. As for the Video Professor offer I received, I immediately sent it back, with delivery confirmation, of course, which was labled and paid for by the 5 bucks I got from Stamps.com, so that cost me nothing! All in all, I invested about 2 hours in this, but not one red cent. I mean that...not one cent di this cost me! I got two weeks of free DVDs, I sent the Video Prof junk back on Stamps.com's nickel, with delivery confirmation, and I also used the Stamps.com stuff for eBay for a month.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing is that you just have to make sure that you cancel before the trial period is up, and EVERY offer I participated in only required that you do a free trial, no purchase required. I also participated in NO credit card offers. In hindsight, I would now, and simply cancel them afterward, but I was real leery then and as I said I made SURE that I limited what I could even possibly lose to what was in my PayPal account, less than forty bucks.
Now, what happens is that you do two offers from "Level one", two from "Level Two" and two from "Level Three"....in doing so, you commit to two before you go to the next two, then you commit to those two before you go to the final two, so if any of you do this, trust me, save the real easy ones (like simply getting a credit card) for last...that way you don't get stuck having committed to four easy ones and then not have two decent picks left at the end.
Now, before I got into all this, I did some reading on this Laptop, cuz I could envision a big plastic calculator "Laptop" as your prize! The thing read that it would be one of three, a Toshiba Satellite, and two other nice machines that I can't recall exactly, with decent equipment. They said that the laptop retailed for 900 bucks, and the only caveat was that they could possibly be refurbished. I also suspected that I would get hit for some big "handling or shipping" charge, but it was to be fully postpaid, with all charges paid by the ad budgets of these big companies that were the offers you participated in.
Long story short, I did the offer...then, when I went to the URL to see what I needed to do to get the laptop, I entered my email (username) and had a message that I had to print out a redemption ticket and send it in, which I did...I sent that certified, return receipt requested. That was about a month or so, ago or maybe a tad more (I participated in the original offer on Christmas Eve night '04). Within a couple weeks of sending it in, I kept going back to that URL, which I had bookmarked, because I kept getting the message that I "had qualified but that I had not sent the voucher in". Well, I went through the multiple emails with no answer, and I searched Yahoo to see what I could find on this (I never found this site from Yahoo, although I wish that I could have....I only found out abour "RipOff.com" through Google, tonight, which really irks me cuz I SURE would have loved to have found this site earlier!! I looked through Google tonight to see about this "Plasma TV offer when I came upon this site) Anyway, as I was there, checking nightly to see if they had gotten the voucher, knowing damned well that they did cuz I got my return receipt back, when I thought to go backward from the bookmarked page to the original URL that would give me "My Status", and I had to re-enter my email address. Now, it took me to my status on their URL, and it said that I "had qualified" and that they had received my redemption voucher, and that this voucher had been sent to their "Fufillment Center" in Boca Raton, who would be shipping this out to me in a few weeks. I see now that I never had gotten the update in my status cuz I had bookmarked the page, and in doing so it didn't let it update, I guess....maybe my browser kept retrieving the last page, and I bet all I would have had to do was hit "refresh". Regardless, what you want to do is to go to the "check your status" link each time and re-enter your email....do NOT bookmark the page that you go to after you enter your email!!! Now, this went on for several weeks, and I was starting to think that I had been razooed...of course, I thought, well, they FOOLED me, but that's all. They didn't get to rip me off! I didn't know that I had been tricked, but I was kinda thinking that way. However, the status note said that it would take the "Fulfillment Center" a few weeks to get the order out, but that it WAS coming. Doubting but not yet sure, I just decided to wait another month to know for sure I was screwed, and then I was gonna go the FTC, AG route.
When I checked my email the night before last, I was absolutely shocked to see that I had a tracking number confirmation email from UPS saying that I had a package that was to ship out on March 7 from this "Fullfillment Center" in DelRey Beach, so whatever it is it is headed my way. The package is 12lbs, so that sounds about right. It is due here tomorrow, and the tracking has it in New Orelans...I live in Kentwood, lA, so it'll be here tomorrow, I am sure.
I am VERY skeptical of stuff, and I never, ever do this sorta thing. The only reason that I did it this time was because of the other old boy I know who did it and actually got an Ipod. If it hadn't been for that I would have NEVER in a million years wasted the time it took to do it....that is all I have committed anyway, is time, cuz as I said it cost me ZIP, NADA, NOTHING to do.
Now, obviosuly you wouldn't use your real email address due to a ton of SPAM, so what I originally was gonna do was use a gmail account and chunk it after. I realized that I would need to be able to get mail from them and didn;t want to have to log in and out of another email address just for that, so what I did was use a disposable SPAMex email address...after I get whatever it is that they are sending me tomorrow, I will just kill that email account.
I am wondering if the problem people had with "deleted accounts" was because they were using bookmarked URLs. I will rebut again when this package comes in, but after reading this site and seeing that others have gotten laptops, plus knowing from UPS's email to me that I have a 12 lb. package coming from these people in DelRey Beach, well, it seems a forefone conclusion that I have a laptop headed this way. I'll post again when the package arrives...it's due on the 10th, tomorrow.

I contacted them via the contact us portion of IRC's ReeemYourGift portion of their website. I also called and left a message at the 866-379-8612 phone number. No response. I then contacted the listed e-mail address above jquiroz@marketresearchsite.net and haven't received anything. It's been about 30 days since I made the purchases and the time is up for them to have been compliant. I had a contact in the Delray Beach, Fl area look up the IRC address listed on their web pages:
Incentiverewardcenter
14545 J Military Trail #189
Delray Beach, Florida 33484
It turns out that this business is nothing more than a mailbox at a UPS store in the Delray area.
After I found that out I started moving forward in a more aggressive manner. I've contacted legal representation under the Florida and North Carolina jurisdictions. All I want is my laptop or the equivalent, although the word class action was discussed. I don't want to say too much about this portion. I don't have a lot of details anyway.
In conjunction with the attorney discussions I'm also going to file complaints in both state's of Florida and North Carolina. The parent company in NC has their fingers in all kinds of shady marketing. I'm leaning towards thinking that nobody has ever received any gift from this company. The people posting that they have on this site are most likely covering for the company. That is my opinion of things.
I'm going to continue my efforts to use the law to receive the laptop that this company owes me, or another item or cash equal to the $700 listed price.
I'll update this thread and another that I started on my own when I have more information. I was pretty aggressive about 3 weeks after starting this, but have been relatively silent over the past week or so. I'm going to start working at this again starting Monday. It's been 30 days and that's long enough for even the slowest company to comply. I'm convinced that this company is a 100% fraud and I'm going to proceed accordingly.

Laptop voucher mailed on 2/18/05 - real person too

SUBMITTED: Friday, February 18, 2005
Ripoff Report people please let this one thread continue as it has alot of specific info that would have to be posted on each individual complaint if not allowed to continue.
I am in the same boat as the rest of you with 6 promotions completed and the voucher mailed. As you can see from above my account was deleted for a few days and now is back also. I will keep you all posted on the status of my Laptop.
I don't think the previous successes are employees. If you read the complaints and then the surprise they had when the laptop or Ipod came, I don't think employees would start with "scam" and "fraud" initial complaint language. (he says hopefully)
I am going to forward a link to this Rip-off Report site to the "contact us" email of consumerincentivepromotions and see if they respond. If they are legit I would think that they would respond in a rebuttal, lets see.
Keep your hopes up I think there is a light or even better a Laptop or Ipod etc at the end of the tunnel.

Once an "Eddy" did leave a message on my machine stating that He would "waive" my voucher and email me a tracking number. He said that the computers were on back order (I Know they are not) and that I would receive it in "6 to 8 weeks. I never received an email frim Eddy or tracking number or anything. Yesterday when I checked my status, my email address was not accepted and it seemed that I was cancelled or something. I checked again today and I'm back in their system, but it still states that they "haven't received my voucher" yet.
I did contact the NC Attorney Generals office, but they sent me a letter stating that they had to forward it to Palm Beach Consumer Protection. I haven't heard from them yet.
I'm begining to think that all these people who state that they have received their gift are working for Emarket Research. I don't believe anyone has received anything.
I'm legitimate and will keep posting with any information.
I feel your pain.

The offer was a free laptop for completing 6 sponsorship offers. On Friday 2/11/05 my reward status screen was visable showing 2 or 3 out of 6 completed. Now on 2/14/05 it says that my email is not found in their data base
>>> end of paste
But now as I checked it at about 10:00pm MST it was back and showed that I have 5 out of 6 completed. Only the Discover card left. And I cancelled my dollars-for-driving and auction accounts already after the $1 one day trial.
Lets hang in there we may see a laptop after all.

This is starting to be a real joke..
Today since I could not check my gift status for my account being deleted, I decided to "reply"
to the other email consumerpromotions sent me, and see what happened to my account.
Well, with no email reply, I checked the site later in the day to see if I could log in and check my gift status and low and behold I could log in!...isnt this a joke?
BUT my status is still not changed. It shows I still have one left to complete on page three.
I have the patience of Job, but this is annoying as hell people! Can I say that?

Charlie, im with you man...let me know if you discover anything...
They deleted my account.
Much like Teddy, when I tried to log into today, they claimed there was no match for my email address.
Total BS.
BTW... I haven't heard *anything* from either state... has anyone else?

Never Received free gift in exchange for completing offers with Consumer Incentive Promotions
AUTHOR: Shanna - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, February 11, 2005
Their email response form is bogus because I have sent countless emails over the last 2 months and have received any response! There's not even a listing of a business at their address provided and the phone number which I got from someone elses rip-off report on this company is a personal cell phone.
When the end of my "90 days" was fast approaching and my fulfillment page would not update from 5 to 6 (despite the fact that I'd fulfilled all 6 requirements Nov 29th and have my own proof), I sent email after email via the bogus customer service page with no response ever received. It was then that I began researching the Internet and found this site.
I called (866)379-8612 and it required me to leave a message and I did on Feb. 11. I wrote an email to jquiroz@marketresearchsite.net .
I was skeptical at first.
I thought to myself it could not hurt anything in trying.
Well after spending $200+ and not getting my laptop, I am extremely frustrated.
Everything it asked me to do, I did.
I better not receive a message that Teddy received telling me that it takes 4-6 weeks for all of the purchases to be reported to them. The only offer that they claim has not been reported, I have already received my second shipment from the company.
How convenient for Consumer Incentive Promotions to claim that the companies have not reported" to them! They have set it up in their terms and conditions to back out of all their offers with the not reported clause. And Consumer Incentive Promotions collects the money from the companies to buy me a laptop? How easy is it for them to claim that the company has not reported and keep the money for themselves? They even instruct us not to contact the sponsors. Please!
I will keep everyone posted on what happens.
Thanks everyone. We all need to stick together and not allow companies over the Internet to rip us off!

I do not normally like reporting companys but im getting so angry after not seeing any results. I clicked on a
consumerpromotionsincentives link, I was skeptical at first.
I thought to myself it could not hurt anything in trying.
Well after spending $200+ and not getting any of the offers to "show" completed, I became frustrated. Ive got products
sitting on my desk that I dont even want or need; and I have completed about 10 out of the six offers.
All of them should be fullfilled. One page one, I completed stamps.com, and video professor. They show 2 completed offers.
On page two, it shows BMG music competed and driving for dollars. That is two completed for that page. However, on Page
three, I did ALL the offers on the page! Everything it asked me to do, I did. There are none left showing on the page to do.
But in the completed status it shows Vonage to be completed. I signed up for Longevity, it shows not completed. I have the
invoice of that completion, plus a product on my desk to show for it. I wrote the company many times. No resonse. Im about
$200 dollars in the hole for this "free" laptop.
Its not fair. If they put offers on sites, they should at least
"function" properly. It has been only about 10 days, and by doing some searching for the company and what Ive found, I do not
like what I see so far.
I called the 800 number listed in Todds report, and did not speak to anyone as they wanted an extension number or refered you
to an operator. I emailed jquiroz@marketresearchsite.net and as of this writing have not gotten any reply yet.
I guess All that I can do is waite and keep researching. Its obvious that the completed status on page three is gonna show
that I still have one left to complete. Nothing more I can do, no more offers, and I am not spending any more money on stuff
I dont want. I want action. What is left? Please help.

Next, be sure that you read carefully all terms of conditions regarding the initial Offer, as well as with all other offers you have to sign up for.
Be persistent.
Be sure to create a temporary Email address that you are willing to dissolve once the whole process is finished and you have your gift.
Do the math to decide whether it's worth your time and money (I made out pretty well on mine).
And above all, Be Patient! It took me almost three months from start to finish.

I actually received my laptop! thanks, so grateful to this site for the information I received. I know I never would have gotten the laptop otherwise
AUTHOR: Debi - (U.S.A.)

When the end of my "90 days" was fast approaching and my fulfillment page would not update from 4 to 6 (despite the fact that I'd fulfilled all 6 requirements Nov 8th and have my own proof), I sent email after email via the bogus customer service page with no response ever received. It was then that I began researching the Internet and found this site and Todd from San Francisco's posting, in particular.
With all the information I gathered from the postings here, I was able to email a real address and call a real person. My email detailed my problem and included a report to the North Carolina Department of Justice as part of the solution.
The 'real' person I spoke to at (866)379-8612 took down my information and said someone would call me back. I had zero confidence that someone would, but a woman named "Tina" did! She assured me that my laptop would be in my hands in 3 to 4 weeks. I'm thinking she's stringing me along to get me past the 90 days so they can use THAT as the excuse for not holding up their end up the bargain, so I write a second email to jquiroz@marketresearchsite.net (found at Todd's informative posting). This time, the first email is repeated and I add the details of my conversation with "Tina" and my skepticism (especially since Tina refused to give me her last name, or a tracking number, or confirmation number)... then I added that I would be mailing a copy of that email to the N.C. Dept of Justice.
Unbelievably, I hadn't gotten the chance to fill out the complaint form before a FedEx truck is in front of my house making a delivery (6 days later). I'm at a loss, thinking the guy must have the wrong house because I'm not expecting anything. But lo and behold, there it is, a brand new Dell laptop.
I am so grateful to this site for the information I received. I know I never would have gotten the laptop otherwise and I want others to get what they have been promised as well. Thanks so much to Todd!
I hope this information helps, Steve. Don't give up.
- Debi
P.S. They actually included a self-addressed stamped envelope in the box with a note saying they would send me a $50 gift card if I would send my testimonial telling how happy I was with my experience!
