I signed up for a free Apple iBook offer through eMarcket Research on 11/26/04 and completed all six offers (2 from each page). This actually went relatively easy; however my offers did change from page to page and I had to sign up for a few more but within 2 weeks they were listed as "completed."

After I was redirected to their VOUCHER page, I printed the voucher and mailed it in to the address listed on 12/10/04. Their website still lists my voucher as "unreceived" so I mailed it in 4 more times. I emailed the company through their "customer support" line about 20 times and never received a response and my voucher still doesn't show up as received.

Through this fantastic website I found a number (866-301-7260) and left a message stating my delima. Eddy called me back about 2 or 3 hours later and stated that he "waived" my voucher and that he was sorry but the "computers were on back-order" and that I should receive my laptop computer in "6 to 8 weeks." This was on 1/21/05 and I haven't heard or received anything yet.

Since then I have left numerous emails and messages without any result or reply from anyone and my status on their website still says my voucher is "not received."

I would like to give this company the benefit of the doubt, but it is very hard when I get absolutely no responses from their customer support. I doubt that I will receive my iBook but will keep posting with any changes,

emarket research I RECEIVED MY iBOOK!!!! but, it was very frustrating

I just wanted to reply that I received my iBook on 3/11/05. I can't believe that I actually got this computer. It was very frustrating that after all my efforts nobody contacted me or answered any of my emails. My vouchers went "unreceived" and I through this site I followed what others had done and eventually it worked out and cost me abou 75 dollars. Well worthn it for a 1000 dollar iBook.

To all who frequent this website: I will never reply to another offer on the internet. How stupid must we be that we actually think that these offers are for real. Luckily it worked out for me, but it could have just as easily cost me a lot more.

To Todd in SF, I apologize that I thought he was working for eMarket Research, but I just didn't think that someone who had received their gift would take the time to put together all the information he did, but by following his suggestions I was able to ultimately succeed in this offer.

I also apologize to eMarket Research... BUT I feel they are dishonest in their practices or all these people would not have to result in contacting agencies to report fraud. A better customer service dept. that can handle and respond to their customers would be a step in the right direction.

All in all I am very happy that I received the Apple iBook that was advertized and would tell others to proceed only if they have the time to stay ahead of this company and pursue all avenues to get their gift. If anyone is having trouble do everything that Todd in San Francisco has already suggested on his post.

Thanks very much to rippoff report, what a fantastic site.

Peace

UPDATE I have done everything suggested but nothing helped

AUTHOR: William - (U.S.A.)

I have done everything suggested by everyone, but still there is no response. I contacted the North Caroliona State Attorney Generals office, but I received a leter stating that they couldn't do anything for me, but forward my complaint to: Palm Beach County Division of Consumer Affairs. I have emailed everyone listed and called all the numbers listed. Nothing has Happened.

Now when I check the "gift redemption status" on their website, my email address doesn't show up anymore. My 90 days isn't up until Feb. 22. I'm begining to think that all these people who claim to have received their gifts are just blowing smoke. I hope I'm wrong and apologize if I offend anyone, but I just don't understand why This hasn't worked for me as well.

Can anyone help?
