We rented a vehicle from ENTERPRISE RENT A CAR after a car accident.  The person that hit our car forced us to use Enterprise due to their insurance.  We rented a car for THREE DAYS.  Only driven approximately 50 miles back and forth to school.  Stored under a COVERED GARAGE when not in use.  Went to return car and were informed later by ENTERPRISE that the ROOF HAS $1400 worth of damage!  Seriously???!!!  There was a hail storm ONE WEEK BEFORE WE RENTED!  The insurance adjustor even said it looked like hail damage, but there was NO STORM DURING THE 3 DAYS OF RENTAL.  This place is a TOTAL SCAM!  HUNDREDS OF FAKE CLAIMS on the internet regarding ENTERPRISE.  DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BEING SCAMMED BY THEM.  We will NEVER use their services again.  They even sent threatening letters, harassing phone calls, on and on while the insurance company was settling the claim.  We had to pay our deductible, WHICH WAS PAID, yet they continued to harass us!  One threat said they would get an attorney, and never allow us to rent from ALAMO, ENTERPRISE, OR NATIONAL CAR RENTAL.  WELL, GUESS WHAT?!?!  I'LL RIDE A BIKE FIRST!  NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Why did you pay anything?

AUTHOR: voiceofreason - (United States of America)

You shouldn't have had to pay a nickel. Why didn't your insurance company fight them on this?

I think, if you're being expected to front the deductible, that you have a right to insist they do, before they have a right to insist you pay anything.

It's an obvious fraud scam by Criminalprise and if your insurer insists on quietly submitting to it because fighting it isn't worth their energy, you shouldn't be forced to pay crap.
