We are two more people who have been scammed into ePenzio and Pacific Webworks, Monterey Financial, Bridgeview Bank & Trust, and penzPay--don't think that I left anyone out here. We originally attended a National Grants Conference here in Greenville, SC on April 27, 2002: didn't sign up for this but got involved with ePenzio as it seemed like a great way to make money at the time.

Well, all of here on this site know how making money building your own website worked with ePenzio: it didn't! It wasn't easy as those big wigs said ("just a matter of a few hours to build") nor could we get it to work even after setting it up with the web tutorial.

Tried to get this person or that person with uCart (people with the so-called-products to sell) or ePenzio to help us out and of course, we got the run around and no help at all. Tried contacting them by phone and e-mail.

An ePenzio man called Chad (wonder if he used his real name?) called us up after signing up 2 weeks later and wanted us to get more credit cards so that we could get involved with Datek (deals in stock and I guess that ePenzio gets some sort of cut from them). Chad was VERY pushy and after we told him that our credit wasn't so good and new cards were just not possible, we were able to get rid of him off the phone. Later, we looked up Datek on the net to see if there were any complaints about them & boy, did we get a read full! Thank goodness we had the sense not to involve ourselves with this...

After a few months when we realized that no website was going to work, we decided to cancel. We e-mailed Pacific Webworks and one letter plus one phone call later from a representative we got out of that one. For Bridgeview Bank & Trust, I called them up & was told to send them a fax & so, cancelled them as well. Penzpay I did over the net via e-mail. Cancelling 3 out of 4 isn't bad, but the main one is ePenzio (have to send them money via Monterey Financial Services each month).

Does anyone out there have any ideas on how to get rid of ePenzio/Monterey Financial Services? They don't take money out of our checking acct. nor credit card; we've to send them a check for $99.95 each month.
Also would like to hear from anyone who was at the morning meeting for the National Grants Conference on April 27, 2002 in Greenville, SC.

fighting the good fight....

The only rebuttals that matter are ones of satisfied complaints

AUTHOR: Reid - (U.S.A.)

THE REBUTTAL ABOVE IS JUST ANOTHER FALSE POSTING BY YOUR TYPICAL FUDGE PACKING SHILL. Ignore any and all positive rebuttals that are not posted by either ex-employees of the company being reported or people in management.

When a company has been reported, they have the burden to explain, address and rectify each and every complaint in a timely and professional manner.

It is not the responsibility of consumers to do so. Don't ever do business with any company that is not willing to come forward to defend themselves. THEY'RE ALL SCAMS!!

All companies that are not willing to come forward and post legitimate rebuttals in their favor obviously have things to hide and some major issues to iron out. THAT'S WHAT THE REBUTTAL BOX IS FOR!!

The rebuttal box was not meant for Beaver Cleaver to contradict and throw salt on already financially wounded scam victims. Remember, legitimate companies pay millions of dollars in advertising and would definitely come forward themselves to rectify any issues or wrong doings and also to protect their reputation for being a legitimate company.

Who are these people that post false rebuttals bending over for anyways? What toilet did they pop out of? You can easily determine if a posted rebuttal is legitimate or nothing but pure shill crap by asking people responsible for posting them these two simple questions.

1. Which one of the PAID characters are they in the infomercial and exactly when is it they appear?

2. Are they themselves willing to take full responsibility for reimbursing everyone else that are scammed by the company from here on out, due to their misleading and false rebuttal? Any and all shills caught posting false rebuttals in favor of crooked businesses shall be held fully accountable for his or her actions, for they are just as guilty as the people responsible for perpetuating the scam in the first place.

Posting false rebuttals is just as bad if not worst than someone posting a false report against a company, for their evil intention would lure innocent people into financial danger. They are equally responsible for further misleading the public into what could be disastrous, regardless if it's their intention to do so or not.

Never, ever allow rebuttals to persuade you into believing that a company or offer is legitimate.

Thoroughly research any and all companies on and off the Internet before deciding to do business with any company.

Anyone and everyone that posts a rebuttal to dispute an original report should be willing to identify him or herself, or else the attempted counter is definitely false. It makes no sense that someone would go out of his or her way to submit positive rebuttals in a company's favor and not identify him or herself. Why would anyone find it necessary to hide his or her identity while posting a positive rebuttal?

Shills that post false rebuttals are only trying to further influence and persuade many others into making dangerous and financially risky investment decisions and they definitely shall be held accountable for their bad intentions.

THE ONLY REBUTTALS THAT TRULY MATTER ARE ONES THAT ARE POSTED BY EMPLOYEES AND OR EX- EMPLOYEES OF THE COMPANY IN QUESTION. THE ONLY REBUTTALS THAT ARE TOTALLY GENUINE ARE THOSE FROM COMPANIES THAT ARE WILLING TO SATISFY ANY AND ALL CONSUMER COMPLAINTS.

Every company receives complaints at some time during their existence; however how the complaints are acknowledged, addressed, satisfied and or rectified is what separates all legitimate businesses from all fraudulent companies that engage in fraudulent activities. Also, a false rebuttal is one where someone from a company tries to shift the blame on an already wounded victim.

False rebuttals are very easy to point out, for they often stick out like a sore thumb. False rebuttals are any and all hunky-dory bullshit success stories that are as unbelievable as the misleading advertisement that lured everyone into the rip-off in the first place.

Legitimate businesses acknowledge and satisfy all complaints, while fraudulent businesses find it easier to ignore all complaints and just continue on with their fraudulent activities while going into deep hiding.

The fact that a company does not step forward to defend their company and business and acknowledge complaints filed against them should be a dead give away that their offer is a scam. Fraudulent companies feel safe and protected and rightly so, for they are well protected by the traps they set by taking advantage of all discrepancies and loopholes in the fine print of credit cards that were actually meant for protecting consumers. They use it in their favor to literally try an extort money from people.

All this BULLSH#T is in addition to them already misleading hundreds or even thousands of people into investing thousands of dollars into their scam. WARNING: Don't ever invest any money into any program until you have a printed copy of their RETURN POLICY.

If a company's return policy seems shady in any way or the company has a NO REFUND policy, DON'T purchase any of their products or services, until thorough research and investigating has been conducted. Many companies have very confusing return policies, while many companies have NO REFUND policies and there is a perfectly good explanation for both.

1. CONFUSING REFUND POLICY: For obvious reasons. 2. NO REFUND POLICY: The trap.

Legitimate companies would never allow complaints or issues to go unresolved no matter how big or small, for reputation purposes. Each and every issue is addressed in some way shape or form. Fraudulent companies sweep all complaints that come their way under the rug.

Fraudulent companies make excuses and often try to justify the reason why they receive many complaints against them. We have the average amount of complaints for a company our size. Ever heard this retarded statement? If you should ever hear this come out of someone's mouth, turn and run because anyone who feels the need to try and justify the reason for having so many un-acknowledged and un-rectified complaints against them is definitely trying to scam you. No company has an excuse for having any amount of UNRESOLVED complaints against them, regardless of the size of business. Trying to justify having many UNRESOLVED complaints only makes the situation and the company's reputation a hundred times worst. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ANY COMPANY TO BLOW OFF ANY AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS; I DON'T CARE HOW BIG THEY ARE!! AND IF A COMPANY SHOULD EVER TRY TO JUSTIFY BLOWING OFF COMPLAINTS, IT'S A SCAM!! THEY HAVE VERY LITTLE TO BE DESIRED!!

Again, it's not how many complaints a company receives; it's how they are handled. There are far too many rebuttals on this website that obviously have been posted by insiders of fraudulent companies or associates who have a vested interested in scamming people.

By companies not willing to step forward and defend their business only proves that they are un-willing and un-able to stand behind any of their claims. SCAM!! Never, ever allow rebuttals to persuade you into believing that a company or offer is legitimate. Thoroughly research any and all companies on and off the Internet before deciding to do business with any company. LEGITIMATE COMPANIES ARE ABLE TO DEFEND THEMSELVES!!

Whether a company does so or not is the only indication one needs to determine if a company and their offer is legitimate or fraudulent. All reports are legitimate in their own rights. Nobody would so maliciously post a rip-off report against a company if it weren't true. Most consumers could not afford to risk getting sued and or risk spending jail time for posting fraudulent claims and rebuttals like many companies do today, due to tremendous wealth, lack of morals and crooked intentions. Until next time, take care cause I care, Aloha from Hawaii & God Bless.

Warning: Beware of John Beck!! When you have time, be sure to read my report on the third party marketing companies responsible for selling me garbage. Then threatening to sue me for they're wrong doings. Go back to home page and do a search on John Beck. From now on you will look @ all infomercials in an entirely different way.

P.S. If there are any media companies interested in my story, please contact me through the bad business bureau/rip-off report. I would be more than happy to share my story regarding this scam.

Peter's rebuttal, nothing more than pure shill crap

AUTHOR: Reid - (U.S.A.)

I have a few more comments to make!!

Hello everyone, I hope that his message finds you all in good spirit, back to Peter's rebuttal which is nothing more than pure shill crap. For he says "we encourage consumers to make decisions based upon accurate and impartial information. Rip off report is not such a source". Tell me Peter, could you recommend a better source? A legitimate source where victims of outrageous scams can find justice, while at the same time warn all other would be victims.

It's really funny to me that you state the postings on this website is malicious and misleading when there are God Knows how many companies out there who are engaging in the same practice themselves.

Who should we turn to? You also say that the badbusinessbureau "insulates itself by having a headquarters in an offshore location". The reason for this may be to protect themselves from companies like yours, companies that are soooo sue happy. companies that set traps such as NO REFUNDS.

WARNING: NEVER agee to do business with a company that feels the need to implement a NO REFUND policy. There is a reason why some companies find it necessary to do so.

IT'S A TRAP!! Once someone finds out that the company is not rendering services as promised and not holding up their end of the bargain, it's really difficult to damn near impossible for you to get a refund. It's a scam!!

I have not personally done business with this company, but have attended quite a few so-called FREE seminars and let me tell you that all of them were only interested in selling me on very expensive programs.

These so-called FREE seminars are just deceptive door openers in that there is never mention about any further investments.

THERE IS ALWAYS A CATCH!! So if Peter wants to discuss misleading, he should talk to himself while staring into a mirror. Havn't you ever noticed that all positive rebuttals are from employees of the company? OF COARSE THEY ARE!!

Deception has become a full time job for many of these people. Last but not least, who would so maliciously post rip off reports on companies if it weren't true??? Who would risk getting sued and or spending jail time for posting fraudulent claims??? I'll tell you who would. Companies with lots of money, no morals, and bad intentions, that's who, NOT CONSUMERS WITH LEGITIMATE GRIEVANCES. until next time, take care cause I care, Aloha from Hawaii & God Bless.

P.S. When you have the extra time, don't forget to read my report on John Beck.

In response to peter's rebuttal.

AUTHOR: Reid - (U.S.A.)

Hello to all, I hope that this message finds each and every one of you in good spirit and health. I just have a few things regarding Peter's rebuttal that I seriously need to get off my chest. 1. When mentioning other forums peter, were you referring to courtrooms where fraudulent businesses literally rob their victims?

You know, the companies that have much money and thugs for lawyers that sometimes assists in setting traps (SCAMS) for fraudulent companies to conduct business?

Things such as NO REFUNDS, where they try to extort money from innocent people after victims find out they have been mislead (conned) into investing thousands of dollars under false pretences and very misleading sales pitches? Forums where dubious companies extort money from the general public behind close doors? Is that the kind of forums you meant?

And about the Better Business bureau, I have nothing against this agency, however they charge businesses a membeship fee. So how can this be a good thing for CONSUMERS? Memberships are literally PURCHASED, NOT EARNED!!

It's no different than a coach of a little league ball club going out and PURCHASING trophies for the entire club to display.

It's really deceiving in that people who are not quite familiar with this agency and what it stands for often base their decision on the store bought plaque that's hung in businesses and storefront windows. This website is far more resourceful in that they DO NOT hide any complaints. IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS AND HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

It's as simple as that. Any other businesses that are just looking for a way to drag people behind closed doors and mug them are just flat out scams. As for every one who has posted a rip off report you too have nothing to worry about, as long as your experiences have actually occured and are truthful and accurate to the best of your knowlege. Don't ever let a rebuttal intimidate you to not file a rip off report. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO!! The only people who would try to intimidate and discourage others in doing so while trying to diverge complaints else where, are people who have something to hide. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST FORUM TO POST ANY AND ALL BAD EXPERIENCES. IT'S SPECIFICALLY STATED ON THIS WEBSITE THAT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BASE THEIR BUYING DECISIONS ON A COMPLAINT(S).

This website, all of it's postings and viewing are totally volutary and we should all be thankful for it. We should also be aware that many of the rebuttals are false in that employees and ex-employees of companies may try to sway public opinions one way or another. The only rebuttals that really matter are those of satisfied complaints. If a company has many reports on them but is not interested in addressing and rectify any of them, the public has the right to know. Until next time, Take care yourselves, Aloha from Hawaii & God Bless.

P.S. When you have the time, don't forget to read my report on John Beck.

Brad won't make it right and sends in the "hired legal guns" to scare people. Sorry, no ammo.

AUTHOR: SOL - (U.S.A.)

Brad Crawford, CEO, did a rebuttal to this person's complaint on 02/04/2003, indicating that he had enough information to simply make these customers happy.

Brad chose not to do that. He chose to keep the money at all costs and to hell with the company's reputation and his own.

Now over a year later, the hired legal guns are sent in to do damage control. This maneuver just flushed NGC's reputation down the crapper for all time.

When a company refuses to work with an unhappy customer and opts for legal threats instead, you just have to wonder about that company. A lot. And why one company is selling such a diverse multitude of "products and services" under so many names...

Mr. Peter seems to think that a membership in the BBB is an indication of NGC's integrity. He needs to read this Rip-Off Report:

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff1343.htm

The BBB itself acts in extortionate and deceiving ways, and actually seems to serve more as a shield for shady companies. There have been lawsuits over the BBB's deceptive marketing of itself.

And Peter seems to think there is something wrong with Rip-Off Report advertising its own products on its own website. Oh, how awful! Get a grip, man.

There is NOT ONE SINGLE report on this site stating that someone ordered any product from badbusinessbureau.com and failed to receive it! More than your client, NGC, et al, can claim.

Peter says:

"This site itself, in our opinion, encourages only negative postings regardless of truth or motivation. We post this rebuttal not to give this site credibility, but to state our position that the postings are untrue and defamatory."

Baloney! The fact that CEO Brad has already responded and still failed to give satisfactory results has already vetted the original complaint, and given it all the credibility it needs.

This is a COMPLAINT forum...RipoffReport.com. If all customers of NGC, et al, are happy, WHY are you cruising the board for your client? Wonderful companies do not get repeated complaints on these boards. And even if a complaint is listed, many people have also posted that the issues have been resolved. Just not with NGC...

You can wave your gun around forever, but since you have no ammunition for it it will remain an ineffective waste of time.

Get a real job. Help someone who deserves help. Like all these victims!

Rebuttal From Counsel

AUTHOR: Peter - (U.S.A.)

National Grants Conferences (NGC) has been providing valuable services to the public for over 6 years. To the best of our knowledge any customer who has had problems or concerns with NGC has been accommodated. Our membership in the Better Business Bureau attests to our commitment to customer service.

The postings that appear on this site are untrue and, in many instances, malicious and misleading. This site itself, in our opinion, encourages only negative postings regardless of truth or motivation. We post this rebuttal not to give this site credibility, but to state our position that the postings are untrue and defamatory.

Curiously, ripoffreport itself offers its own products for sale on this site and insulates itself by having a headquarters in an off-shore location.

Numerous statements made on this site regarding many large and well respected companies (other than NGC) are outrageous. As a matter of fact, if these statements were made in another forum, they would subject the writer and the publisher to substantial liability. It remains an open question whether this site's publication of false, misleading and harmful assertions is supportable under US law. Certainly individuals who make false postings are liable for their statements.

There are scams in the marketplace. NGC has itself been faced with a company that used a name that violated our trademark right and calls itself National Grants, LLC. That entity, based in New Orleans has been closed by the Federal Trade Commission. NGC has brought suit against that company in Federal District Court for trademark infringement.

We encourage consumers to make informed decisions based upon accurate and impartial information. Ripoffreport is not such a source.

Thanks much for your comments and suggestions. Just how do I get in touch with NGC/Proven Methods LLC to recoup my $$$ back? Yes, I do know about LeaseCom and all of that mess! now with National Grants in Boca Raton working with E-Penzio up-selling to NGC Attendees

AUTHOR: Jesse - (U.S.A.)

Jerry Bohn, formerly of Roma Computer Solutions with connections to LEASECOMM (Check THEM out) is now with National Grants in Boca Raton working with E-Penzio up-selling to NGC Attendees. Ed is correct, E-Penzio is getting a 50/50 split with NGC for every person they sign up. It's ALL about percentages and Lot's of MONEY. If E-Penzio won't refund you the money they owe, go after NGC and/or Proven Methods LLC - Irene and Mike Milin are running the show (even though they claim they AREN'T)out of Florida. There are more than one way to skin a cat (catch a thief) as long as you know how to 'follow the money" and the money is flowing directly into the hands of the Milins -

The INSIDE SCOOP ON E-Penzio & NGC

AUTHOR: Ed Wood - (U.S.A.)

The CEO of the internet company flat out LIED when he stated that NGC "Asked" him to do the show as a 'service' to their clients. They are in fact liable since they were paid a the service to the NGC front end. He paid NGC a fee according to the room count when his speaker hit the stage to make his pitch. ALSO - Proven Methods LLC dbc National Grants is paid for every person who purchases the internet product. The last I heard, it was a 50/50 split with the Milins. So based on the facts I know about NGC and how they contract with the second slot on the Front End Sales Pitch; the owner was NOT truthful and I have no reason to believe he was truthful with any of the other verions of events he related here. I recommend that you attempt to re-coup your losses through Proven Methods LLC - commission for your purchase and they in fact put on the seminar in the first place. Proven Methods is attempting to go public at this time and do NOT want any lawsuits pending that will be reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission -

GOOD LUCK!

National Grants Conferences are connected with ePenzio--both are scams which are coming to the Greenville, SC area--DO NOT GO!!!

AUTHOR: Janet - (U.S.A.)

To all who have come to this site to get help about ePenzio and their affiliated companies, I need to put out this warning. I am the original person who started this particular post and you can read that I at one time had attended the National Grants Conference back in April of 2002.

You may be wondering what does this have to do with ePenzio and companies? EPenzio was introduced during that second half of that seminar and peoples who couldn't afford the NGC program got roped into ePenzio's scam.

If you are thinking about going--DO NOT GO as I found out that the NGC is also a big scam and all of the stuff that they tell you about is all for free at the local library anyways (about how to write proposals and how to get free gov't money).

I'm sure that something similar to ePenzio will still be introduced and therefore, the scams go on. These people will be in the SC area on March 8-10 and in the Atlanta area on March 11. Unless you go to warn others, stay far away from these peoples as they are nothing but bad news.

The Truth About Brad Crawford's Comments Noted Here....

AUTHOR: Janet - (U.S.A.)

If Brad Crawford has really "looked into" our 'contracts' he would see that:

1. We've already gotten out of our penzPay, Pacific WebWorks, and Bridgeview obligations.

2. James signed the 'contracts'--not Janet.

3. Mr. Robertson has NEVER made any calls to ePenzio.

4. Janet has made numerous calls to ePenzio which have gone unanswered/unreturned. No call backs ever. How convenient that you can choose not to respond to your answering machine.

5. We HAVE tried hours on end just trying to set up the web tutorial and getting that to work. (Had to get beyond the web tutorial stage so that the website could be set up). Links do not work, products from uCart don't come up, and the uCart button never came up. (Needed that uCart button to show up in order to get these so called products to sell). Again, my husband & I stand by our original complaint with ePenzio~nothing works! There are no products to sell as well as no website to sell them on.

6. I do not wallow in self-pity as you say. Can all these people having trouble with ePenzio, Bring It Home, or affiliate names of yours be wrong? I think not. Why then is ePenzio having a first class action lawsuit filed against them then?

7. You must be kidding! I should find some other company/companies into taking over this so called website? It would not be right to scam someone else as ePenzio has. I have scrupples.

8. Brad, for a CEO, you really should be a better speller than you are. By the way, not to be too picky, but the name is Janet, not 'Jane.'

9. What are YOU doing on the ripoffreport station? Nothing better to do??

I remain and still state that ePenzio & affiliate companies under that umbrella name are scammers,

The Truth about Janet and James Contracts

AUTHOR: Brad Crawford, CEO, ePenzio Inc. - (U.S.A.)

I am sorry that Janet (James wife) feels that there is a problem with the Website package that she purchased from Bring it Home or the PenzPay Internet Payment Gateway system that she purchased from ePenzio that would have caused her to have to seek a remedy by this means. I have read Janet's complaint, reviewed all of the contracts that Janet signed, reviewed all of the notes in the Bring it Home database and the ePenzio database concerning Janet's accounts, and I found the following:

1. Janet (James) purchased her Website and applied for the financing package for her PenzPay Internet Payment Gateway at a seminar sponsored by National Grants Conferences (NGC) on April 27, 2002. The contracts that Janet signed on April 27, 2002 required Janet to sign in 8 different places. Janet was given copies of all of the contracts that she signed.

2. The Website and Internet Payment Gateway services are offered by Bring it Home and ePenzio at the National Grants Conferences at the request of NGC.

3. Janet had until May 1, 2002 at midnight to cancel her applications and eliminate all of her obligations concerning these contracts. Neither Bring it Home nor ePenzio received a cancellation notice from Janet during this time.

4. Janet received the Website that he purchased at the time of purchase.

5. The package that contained the Login ID# and Password for Mr. Robertson's PenzPay Internet Payment Gateway system was delivered by FedEx on May 17, 2002. It appears that Mr. Robertson personally signed for the package. You can pull up a copy of the delivery confirmation by going to www.fedex.com and entering the following tracking number 476963416726.

6. Mr. Robertson has only made one call to ePenzio.

7. It does not appear that Janet EVER called Bring it Home requesting help in designing her Website.

Based on this information, I see no reason why ePenzio should be compelled to cancel the financing package for Jane or James. I feel that Bring it Home and ePenzio have lived up to all of the terms of the contracts that Janet signed on April 27, 2002. Bring it Home stands ready, willing and able to assist Janet with her Website design at any time. ePenzio has delivered to Janet exactly what she contracted for. It appears to me that Janet has made no effort to make the products that she purchased work. If Janet had spent as much time and effort designing her Website as she has on the Rip-off-Report, I am VERY confident that she would have been successful. It is too bad that some people would rather wallow in their pity than do something positive to make them more successful.

Fortunately, if Janet has determined that she no longer wishes to develop her Website and use her Internet Payment Gateway, there are several things that Janet can do to lessen or eliminate her costs. She can call Bridgeview at 1-877-877-8164 and cancel the monthly service for her Merchant Account and call ePenzio at 1-800-494-1563 and cancel her gateway access to her PenzPay Internet Payment Gateway. She may also call Pacific WebWorks at 801-578-9020 and cancel the monthly hosting fee for her Website.

This will eliminate all of her monthly costs except for her financing package payment for her PenzPay Internet Payment Gateway. I do however, have a system in place to help Janet sell her PenzPay Internet Payment Gateway and thereby eliminate her monthly financing package payment. This actually costs me quite a bit of money, but I am willing to do this because I really do not want to have anyone stuck with equipment that they are not using. Janet needs to be pro-active and find one or more companies that need an Internet based PenzPay Internet Payment Gateway and then send ePenzio these qualified leads. Please have Janet send these referrals to my personal attention so I can make sure they get handled properly. My email is bcrawford@epenzio.com and my fax is (801) 365-1010, attention Brad Crawford. I will have our salespeople call Ms. Reese's referrals and try to close the sale for him. If they are successful, it will be necessary that Janet pay a $50 transfer fee, but I will pay all of the other sales costs associated with this transfer.

Sincerely,
Respond to this report!
