I'm bringing this matter to everyones attention, do to and on the fact, this Mortage Co., has been our mortage co, 5yrs ago! Fairbanks Mortage paid them off and currently SPS (select portfolio servicing,inc) is current mortage co, over my/this mortage acct!
I called SPS and wanted to know what was going on with this property, that my family and I were forced out of due to sheriff sale back on May 28th 2002(only to be stayed after they -fairbanks- forced us out!) Fairbanks has pad-locked the doors to the house and we have no access to get into the home, although we are responsiable for the up keep (mowing grass, and we just had to install new sewer pipes/lines in it for a home we don't even live in!!)
Fairbanks has allowed my neighbors to remove items off the property (flowers, a pool, pool deck ect.) and then hired a private contractor to "gut" the house out! SPS said they knew nothing about the current forclosure with/through Equicredit! We've begged SPS, Fairbanks and Equicredit to remove our names off the deed, we didn't want the house/property after the HELL they put us through, and nothing but Hell continues on!
I don't know how Equicredit can forclosure on property they don't even own. My son 14yrs of age mows grass over at the property, for nothing, and if we don't mow the grass we get arrested! This is an on going battle and My family has been put through enough just with loosing our home! (we lost our home do to my houseband lost his job and we did everything we could to save and or keep our home, to no vail!)
The emtional stress we had to deal with was unbelievable!Even after we moved out,the township continued to harrass and bother us once a week! The stress almost caused my husband and I in/for a divorce and I'm not willing to go/live through this again! I want some help in this matter, although I can NOT afford to hire another attorney (I still owe my 1st att. for the first forclosure) nor do I want the sheriff dept. at my house every other day!
Something must be done on/about these mortage co.! Fairbanks also "claims" we abanded the property, hows that when we take care of the property and if we wouldn't be "LOCKED-OUT" maybe we could take care of the inside of the house!
So we did NOT in no way, shape or form abandon the property... I'm glad we got our furniture, personal items, etc out before they pad-locked the doors!Equicredit was paid off by Fairbanks and currently SPS has the mortage, please check into this for me, any feed back would be greatfull, for our family has been through enough already.

hope next time i/we buy another home, we know what to look for next time, we lost our home n no longer have the headaches that came with the lending companys, it was tuff!!!

we just recieved a statement in the mail stating we still owe 58.000.00 for/on our home,which was forclosed 3-4 yrs ago! My family and I are trying to get on with our lives after the nightmare dealing with Fairbanks(and the many other names they had!)As I read alot of these,I must tell ya, it wasn't easy walking away from our home in which we worked so hard to buy and now we are living in public housing!The stress it caused on my marriage was unreal, the nights "we" stayed up crying(even on the phone to this so-called mortage co),the emmbarassment "we" went through(my children too)only to see and find out thic Mortage Co., is still in bussiness and ripping people off!It's so unreal! My prayers are for ya all and don't give up!! Our credit is so messed up and I only hope that someday we will buy another home. "we" learned alot dealing with fairbanks and was wishing and hoping our days with them were over!!My husband has suffered to from depression due to the stress of loosing our home and dealing with this mortage co."we" lost everything!

Finally,SPC,Fairbanks,and Equcredit held our sheriff sale on our home! We've never been more happier then now! We no longer have to worry about the grass getting mowed,being harrassed by the neighbors and we can finally clame bankrupcy on our old home,and work on getting our credit straightened up and buy another home!(and NOT through any of these scam morage companys!)
We learned alot buying this home and the hell we went through was unbeleiveable!None of these banks called our attorny and left him know anything about the statis of our home, I found out by my sister driving bye and seen someone moving stuff out of the home! I pitty the next person whom lives in the house for theres alot of work to be done to it!What trusting neighbors we once had,broke into the house and stole all the copper water pipes,removed the main water line(also stole the water meter)so the basement floor will need cut up to install another water line,my flowers,rose bushes etc. was stolen and planted in my neighbors yards!
Our comode down stairs was smashed and pink antifreeze was put in it,(I called police and they came and took pictures of all the damage and made everyone of my neighbors to re-plant my rose bushes and arrested them for stealing!)So,as you can see,we are blessed to be out of the neighborhood(full of thieves!) I bless the new owners!!! I know God will be with my family and I and we will have another home again! Now we have the last laugh!
