ESB Host/Cobra Scripts Micheal Rogers ESB Host/Cobra Scripts Are RIP OFF'S and HACKERS!!! Salem, Oregon

I noticed that the IP address supplied by ESBHost was 192.168.0.11 which is a local IP.

The person complaining about their service seems lacking in basic network technology as he was unable to recognize this and trying doing a DNS query on the address.  I would not considering hosting with anyone who tries to find the location of 192.168.0.11, because where I come from, it is my TV computer!

Had you supplied ESBHost with your username and password prior to this happening?  If so, you should have changed your password after they completed the work they required it for.

I did google the IP address 24.22.71.166 and found a short log coming from that address using default passwords such as admin admin.  Perhaps you are not using a secure password?

I decided to look up the 8814 hosting website and it looks like it is hacked, again.

Based on my reading of this story (which is over a year old) I have deduced that the complaintant is not very knowlegable about hosting and networking and considering his website is currently hacked, should be focusing on fixing that instead of slandering a company and advertising his advertising site at the same time.  Doing a google of 8814 hosting results in similar rants which shows anger and unprofessionalism.

I have had several dealings with esb and cobra scripts I am very happy with the service I was provided I was bult several web sites by them and always got good service when I needed it. I'm sorry if you had a problem I have never had any such problems.. michael and lndsey both have been helpfull and my info haws never been hacked so in that I'm just saying that maybe you where hacked by someone else or maybe the info is lost in cyber space this does happen. Its a computer program not a piece of hardware.. please don't bash me for speaking my opion on this matter.....

".  While that is now a true statement, that has not always been the case.  Cobra Scripts was just sold by your dad late last month/early this month.  So while you are correct now that ESBhost does not own  Cobrascripts, that was not the case when the problems the original complainant talked about.  When the original complaint and subsequent response was made, Cobra Script and ESBhost was owned by your dad and/or yourself.

You also talked about how the original poster got hacked when he moved to another server host, that is not the same in my case.  My site was hacked while it was hosted by you.  When I requested assistance from you to figure out what happened, you provided no help, but instead provided remarks such as I should have backed my site up and that it was only my site that was hacked on your server, not your server.  Then you replied with a sarcastic remark of "If I could find a hack proof host, let you know...." (As I show in my picture #2 in my rebuttal above).  I would certainly not blame ESBhost for my site getting hacked, but I certainly would have expected better support on how to prevent the problem in the future or to be able to identify how the site was hacked.  

As I have looked across the search engines, I see very  similar patterns to what I am experiencing at ESBhost and what the original poster has talked about, so there is a pattern.  Buyer beware.

I also find it curious that my review on your site is not showing up there.  The only ones there are the positive ones.  No one has a perfect record, so why only show the positive reviews?

Lastly, Linsey, you defend your support, but as I stated above, I have had my site down since at least Dec. 12th and it is now the 20th of December, and I have had a ticket for this for that same time and no response or correction a whole week later.  I got use to not getting responses for over 24 hours from you guys,  but a whole week is a bit much.   How can you take customers money month after month and not respond to their problem or assist them in fixing them?  This is not the way to do business and maintain your customer base or gain new customers, IMHO.

To start with ESB Host Inc does not own CobraScripts and has nothing to do with it. Also he seems to be raving on about getting a refund without even asking for one, that seems like great service.. He stated he was not happy and they gave back the money, what more could you ask for?

Linsey who took over ESBhost from her dad Michael points to their "great" reviews on their website.  I have left a negative review on the site.  Let's see if it gets posted or is it only the satisfied reports that are shown there..  I am including it here also.

The support at ESBhost.com in my case has been absolutely horrible.  I have never gotten any thing from them when it comes to problems other than to belittle me.  I have been running websites since 1996 so I am no rookie.  Was using this site as a trial site with a few domains and there have been problems after problems.

The latest started a week ago.  My site was and is down for over a week now.  I sent a ticket and still  no response, then a couple days ago, the ticket was just closed.  I reopened it and said my site is still not functioning.  Still no response after 24 hours since I   reopened it.

Okay question, why would kvc or whoever it is be in your cpanel noticing files being deleted?  They are not allowed to snoop or do anything without your permission.  So tell me while waiting for you stuff to show online would they be in there?  And I don't see how they could notice things were deleted.  I bet you moved this all by yourself and screwed it up.. I have bought many scripts from Cobra Scripts and when I ever had issues the company was quick to respond and fix.  I can say I have not had any issues what so ever with Cobra Scripts.. Plus when ever I have complained something wasn't working right, Cobra refunded me with store credit without me asking for anything in return..

  As you can see Gene B 8814 Hosting admits he was not in our hosting when he was hacked(if he was hacked) and the IP he is flashing is not and has never been my IP.. Gene B 8814 Hosting just proved that he is a liar in his own post by flashing the IP and fake case number.. 

  As you can read the post of Gene B 8814 Hosting are the post of a child, I do not even think he was hacked, he was a real poor web master and his site looks like it was made by a 2 year old so there is nothing secure about it from what I can tell..If he has any hosting clients I am guessing its less than 10..

While KVC Hosting was in the process of moving my account several files was deleted from my account before all the files could be moved. Now, I live in Oak Ridge, Tn. and I have At&t ( Bellsouth DSL ) as my internet provider and this is my IP Address 74.248.192.87. If this is not enough evidence to prove that Micheal Rogers is a liar and a HACKER Then I don't know what to tell you. However, I can say this, If you don't heed the warning and you decide to do business with ESB Hosting/Cobra Scripts then you are putting your business at risk!!!

This person left our hosting and moved to a new host where they were hacked or something , once in that host we have no control over the sites or the hosting. The stuff he or she is talking about never happen in ESB Host Inc Servers. We are filing a slander suit since the person gave all there information on who they are and they live in the USA.

ESB Host Inc, has some of the best security there is in the hosting industry and once a person like this moves to a new host we can not be responsible for anything that happens..  

This person sated he was hacked or something and it not our problem because it did not happen while he or she was hosting with us at ESB Host Inc

I will say I do not feel bad since the person filed charge backs trying to get free hosting and I am thinking that this person jumps from host to host filing charge backs on each one in hopes to get free hosting. Maybe not but he did not get hacked in our servers so its not in our control. and I am willing to be there is a long line of people that think this person is a jerk like we do
