ESCAMBIA COUNTY ALABAMA SHERIFF DEPT VIOLATION OF RIGHTS ABUSE OF DISABLED PERSON BREWTON Alabama

 Despite the very long previous rebuttal which could only come from one of Escambia County's deputies of ill-repute, the account given by the woman who is handicapped rings extremely true. These deputies are known for speeding without their warning lights on to the point of terrorizing their passengers. Also, the person who rebutted the handicapped woman's explanation didn't like that she used the 4th amendment. She was correct in doing so because without a cause for a search it was illegal.

Of course the deputies lie and claim the person stopped was acting guilty. I personally have known of one occasion where a single pill (not prescribed to the passenger), was planted. The ladies experience at the jail sounds typical and again, calling the person rebutting a liar, ALL persons are shackled at Escambia Co jail; the only one in lower Alabama to continue this barbaric practice. To not know this woman, the person rebutting sure sounded angry, defensive, deflective, and full of lies. They either have never experienced an ounce of the inhuman treatment that Escambia Co gives out or is Grover Smith's internet cleanup b***h.

I can say from one day of experience, inmates waiting trial are treated as guilty. To complain would lead to punishment. I went 36 hours with nothing to drink but water from my hand out of the sink which smelled foul. I asked for a styrofoam cup from the staff repeatedly (which is standard issue), the staff just looked at me. In my opinion a full scale investigation should be done on this place sooner than later. I know my civil rights were violated and upon leaving I was sick and required antibiotics. From the sound of it so was this handicapped woman.

 What YOU experienced was NOT a ripoff . It IS however the consequences of having drugs in your vehicle. I have been pulled over before and I am disabled. I have NEVER had them ask to search my vehicle. Why?? Because I didn't look like someone on drugs, and THAT is THEIR probable cause. Then YOU compound the issue by attempting to invoke a right that is NOT meant for a traffic stop. If YOU had NOTHING to hide, then this wouldn't have been an issue. The officer would have poked around a bit and found nothing and YOU would have been on your way. BUT!! Since YOU chose to be difficult, the situation unfolded as it did. Odds are that your "friend" told YOU that she was riding dirty when those lights were turned on. Which would mean that by invoking your 4th amendment rights, YOU were as guilty as the person holding the drugs because YOU were attempting to keep the police from finding them by YOUR actions.

YOU seem to think that the people on the web must be some dumba** mouth breathers and that WE as a whole are going to buy that BS story. YOU are awful quick to point fingers at them and YOUR perception of wrong doing. But we all have watched enough reality TV to KNOW that if YOU were placed in shackles then YOU were a problem prisoner. Shackles are used when a prisoner becomes VIOLENT!!! Which means that while YOU are whining over the way YOU were treated, YOU and YOUR ACTIONS are what prompted the police to do as they did. YOU cant play the victim when YOU are the instigator. I find that while YOUR arrest was uncomfortable it wasn't a ripoff and the events that occurred to YOU were of YOUR own doing. I would suggest that YOU take another civics class and brush up on your constitutional law. YOUR misinterpretation of that law is what has you in this situation.

By fighting the search request YOU escalated the situation. If the drugs were in the passengers purse, then YOU wouldn't have been held responsible for what that person was carrying. But since YOU fought it, YOU were part of it. And THAT is what they are going to prosecute on. Even in ALABAMA your civil rights are respected. Jail is NOT suppose to be club med. It IS restriction and confinement. People who break the law seem to think that JUST because THEY are American, THEY should get the royal treatment in jail. People like YOU who think YOUR personal issues over ride jail policies. It wouldn't matter WHAT YOU TOLD THEM!!! YOU could be faking ALL your disabilities and THEY know that. People in jail will say and do ANYTHING to get themselves BETTER treatment. YOU were treated like everyone else.

Given the events in YOUR tale of woe, all I see is someone who made their jail visit as difficult as possible. YOU fought them at every opportunity because of YOUR self entitled nature. YOU think YOU are better then THEM. But THEY have ALL THE POWER in jail and all you did was make it worse for you. I would hope that this is a life lesson for YOU. YOU can not fight the system WHEN YOU ARE IN THE WRONG!!! And WE ALL KNOW that you were. YOUR friend TOLD YOU she was riding with drugs and YOU in a flash of idiocy chose to protect that friend and it was at the cost of YOUR freedoms. NOW you WILL have a record and EVERY traffic stop in YOUR future is going to be a "Felon" stop. All because YOU couldn't keep your trap shut. The irony is almost palatable. YOU have not been ripped off and Im sorely tempted to email that police dept and let THEM see the stack of BS that YOU are calling the truth. Perhaps YOU haven't had enough of the police, I don't know. All I DO know is that YOU are on a spiral to defeat. The ONLY way to win in this is to not play THEIR game. BUT!! YOU seem to think YOU know better then EVERYONE so YOU will continue to pay for that self entitled attitude that got you in this situation in the first place.
