ETX Transmissions, Sold Through Advance Auto Parts bad transmissions, rebuilt transmissions Mundelein Illinois

A local repair shop replaced the original transmission and motor in my 94 Chevy K1500 pickup with only 280,000 miles on it. I opted for the heavy duty version of the motor. The motor came back to me with no oil pressure, and caught fire in my driveway. they ended up replacing the motor, which came back with very low pressure, but surviving.

Now the good part: the transmission died a week later. They replaced that one, and now the third is dead. warrantee covers this. The gentleman doing the service has NOT been honest with us on most of the issues, telling us the company is overnighting a replacement to him, etc. it has now been a month without my vehicle, and no end in sight. we finally had enough, and demanded his contact numbers. the first number was to an advance auto warrantee service. They informed me that he had called them, and was given instructions to call the rebuilder: ETX transmissions. He would be given a PO number, and a replacement would be on its way. He NOW tells us ETX will not return his calls or faxes.

I called them, and I get a recording that the number is a non working number. I went online to see if i could find a number, and there was that number, and a non toll free one. that one also sais that it is non working. did this company fold? I NEED MY TRUCK!
